I’m beginning to think there won’t be a 4/$1 on the crayons this year.

    • Sarah

I was thinking the same thing :-/ at least it’s only $.33 still

  2. Vishnu

Ha ha… How we all think alike.

  3. shop4mybabies

I love Crayola crayons…probably my favorite thing in the world even as an adult. love buying every color and will only use that brand

  4. Stevmon4

Does anyone know how much Walmart sells them for when they run their “back to school” sale?

    • Gina

They r 50cents right now. Dont recall them going any less last year

      • Stevmon4

        Thank you! 🙂

        • Jen

They were .25 last year here in Alabama!

    • CW

Yeah never went lower than .50 at Walmart last yr.

      • Stevmon4

Thanks! Guess I’ll be going by toys r us tomorrow..

    • Marlene

You can price match in walmart at the register just show them your phone or at target at the cs desk

  5. Pat

This will likely offend. Sorry. I am a bargain hunter to my core. Still, the months-long, eight-cent debate over crayons is making my teeth hurt. Eight. Cents.

    • Amanda

Staples will beat it by 10% so it will only be a 5 cent different, hope that helps a little 🙂

    • Jessica

      Lol

    • Kim

While 8 cents doesn’t sound like much, I need 30 boxes for my kids and students. Plus countless other supplies and we have 2 birthdays in August… Every penny counts for us right now.

      • Susan

I am sure toys r us has had then 4/1.00 every year. I’m holding out. 😉

  6. Marisa

On Facebook people are saying Walmart has them for 25 cents…I could swear mine were 50. I picked some up at staples for 40 cents (50 cents plus I had some sort of 20 percent taken off).

    • CW

In my area they never went lower than .50. In years past they were .25. I’m in South FL and my relatives’ store in rural Central FL never went lower than .50 (and the cost of living there is lower).

      • Susan Goldsberry

I had to price match at Walmart last year with Toys R Us ad to get them to .25. I’m guessing we aren’t going to see them lower this year. 🙁 I’m still holding out for composition notebooks to go on for .25 and liquid glue for .05

        • Beth

If you have a Shopko nearby notebooks (spiral ones) were 19 cents…if that is what you were looking for.

  7. Ashlie

50 cent in Shenandoah, VA, which is the armpit of the US. Small town, very high unemployment. (beautiful town though lol). So, don’t see it going any lower than 50 any other place. Hope I’m wrong though.

    • Brittany

I’m in Lynchburg, Va-lol! It is 0.50 here too. I don’t mind that price though-it is better than the regular price of 1.99-2.49, so I will take it!

  8. Jennifer Cuti

I just went to walmart…Crayola are .50….haven’t seen them cheaper…the crazy art crayons are cheaper at walmart…but theyre no Crayola! Also, I have found elmers glue sticks are cheaper at target this week…6 pk for .99….best price I found so far!

    • shop4mybabies

I get the 2 packs for 25 cents every year, so was debating to see if I should wait for those or stock up on the 6 packs. we use around 200 glue sticks a year in this house

      • Jessica

The 4pk glue sticks are .25 at ofice depot / office max , this week it says limit 3 tho .

        • shop4mybabies

is it the elmers brand? off brand glue sticks are awful

          • Caron

No they are scholastic brand. I am hoping since they are from an office supply store that they are ok quality. We needed a large amount (32) among a ton of other supplies. They are the only thing I cheaped out on :/

        • Becky

You also have to spend $5 to get the .25 price at Office Depot. Learned that the hard way. The ad does not say that but when I got to the checkout, he wanted me to pay full price for the glue sticks ($1.50) & then I could have the Sharpies for .25. I said no way because glue sticks were cheaper at Staples & Target. Told them it was false advertising & walked out.

          • Lauren

That doesn’t sound right. I didn’t have that problem at office max (same ad). But, my office max did day that Office Depot is cheap and had affected a lot of things at office max since the merge.

  9. Mary

Walmart had them for 1.24 per pack at my Walmart this week in Milwaukee, WI. I price matched Family Dollar at Target for .50 on Sunday.

  10. Tami

Is there a flyer for this toys r us sale for tom and will walmart price match? No toys r us nearby

  11. Miranda

Does anybody own the Tot Tudors Super Size Organizer? If so, how do you like it? I’ve been eyeing one on Amazon, but this is a much better deal.

    • Heather

They’re incredible, however, I would purchase it at Target. They have better colors.

      • Miranda

Thanks for the reply, Heather! Good to know!

    • shop4mybabies

and I would purchase it at Costco, they have better quality

  12. Heather

If you are in the store anytime soon, LOOK at the isle that has the small 5×7 cards with the SKU’s on them for the bigger outdoor/indoor toys (items such as basketball goals, air hockey tables, etc.). Today I was in my local store and got a 4 in 1 swivel sports table for $27.98. How CRAZY awesome is that?! They are $159.99 on the website right now:

    https://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=20850986&KPID=15745778&mr:trackingCode=16B445E0-042C-E311-A497-90E2BA285E75&mr:referralID=NA&mr:filter=38524419166&camp=PLAPPC-_-PID15745778&mr:ad=35250047926&mr:device=c&mr:match=&mr:adType=pla&cagpspn=plat_15745778&mr:keyword=

They also had air hockey tables for $11.98 (was $79.99). The lady in the checkout in front of me purchased 2 of them. Awesome gifts!

      • Rachel

My store it was still $59.98 🙁 Thanks for the head up tho! You never know…

    • Stevmon4

Thanks Heather! I will try this tomorrow when I pick up my crayons 🙂

      • Heather

        You’re welcome!

  13. Carla

Anyone know where I can give college ruled notebooks to? I accidentally picked them up instead of wide ruled. I was planning on donating to a local elementary school, but they don’t/can’t use college ruled, right? I have all this stuff and nothing to do with it!!

    • shop4mybabies

donate to local middle school, that’s when college ruled starts:)

    • Jamie

I teach kindergarten and let my little ones color in them all the time. Kinder/pre-school teachers will take anything! 🙂

    • Pinki

You can donate to your local women’s and children shelter or school for homeless children.

  14. Niki

Bought one at Sears for 9.99 reg 139 and very cheap worth the 10 bucks but definitely not 100 they claim they sell for originally

  15. Kelli

I need your opinions! My daughter will be 6 in September. Do you think the Baby Alive Ice Cream doll would be too young? She loves her dolls and ironically we were in TRU the other day and she was fascinated by the tongue licking the ice cream. Would any of you get it for your 6 yo dd??? TIA!

    • shop4mybabies

depends on your kid…if she loves it, go for it:) my 15 and 16 year old GIRLS still want lego sets for Christmas every year, but that age my son would have died if I gave him anything other than a video game, my 10 year old wants bras and clothes and complains that I won’t let her have a boyfriend KILL ME NOW! every kid is different:)

      • Stevmon4

I agree, all depends on your kiddos. My baby girl (8 yr old) would definitely like the Baby Alive ice cream doll. If Im not too positive about whether or not she would play with it I would “accidentally” come across it in the toy aisle and ask her about her thoughts on it. Or show her a commercial about the roy and see what she said..

  16. J

Can you price match at Wal-Mart? From your phone? Will Office Max price matvh? From your phone?

    • Pinki

You cannot use your phone to price match at Walmart.

      • J

I did it with no problem 😉

  17. Tina

Also, be on the lookout for Dora the Explorer 16″ backpacks for $1.50 (reg $14.99). Online clearance is showing the following backpacks available in-store only at that price: How Beautiful, Ballerina, and Sing & Dance.

  18. Camille Brown

I lucked out last weekend and hit a garage sale of a retired teacher. Got 24 pack Crayola crayons, Crayola markers, and composition books for $.25 each. Bought all she had to donate to a school my church partners with. Still looking for bargains, but don’t believe I can top that. Appreciate the tips here.

  19. Dorothy

I went to ToysRus yesterday and they had their Geoffrey tissue boxes 2/$1.00. They were regularly $1.99 ea. They make cute children’s tissue boxes! I live in Southwest Missouri.

  20. Erica

Can you use your phone to price match at target?

  21. Fordmommy

I use my phone to price match at Walmart. I just show them the ad photo and they match it.

  22. J

Can you use your phone to price match at Office Max?

    • Erin

I have used my phone to price match at Office Max and at Target. HTH

      • J

        Thank you

  23. Kanani

Has anyone tried to purchase the Tot Tutors toy organizer at their TRU? I called our store and the associate told me it is not a red hot deal there.

    • wishinitwas

Didn’t buy it but saw it in the front by the registers for the red hot price.

    • Kanani

I took the chance and went down to the store. None of the items were marked as Red Hot Deals or at the sale prices, but they rang up that way!

  24. Amanda

    I bought it!
