I have been having the worst time @ DG lately with the digital coupons, whenever I try to use them the register freezes–this happened to me @ 3 different locations–not worth the hassle. 🙁

Me too! Last time they manually put it in then I got home and realized nothing actually came off. They seems very confused by the entire thing so obviously no one has really been trained on how to use them properly.

The same happened to me. The manager was the one to ring me up but was telling me of the mobile coupons while I was speaking of digital. The register froze and he rebooted the system. When it came back up he was able to continue checking me out because the register started where it left off….so once all items were scanned and he told me my total after manufacturer coupons, then I pushed the digital coupon button on the pad …entered my number and the deductions were made. I think it was better that way….I was able to see my total change

Same here. I had the $5 off coupon loaded and didn’t realized it didn’t come off until I got home. The lady who checked me out had no clue how to use digital coupons. I figured out that I had to enter my number. Wish they would give the cashiers a heads up on usage. 🙂

Collin for some reason I am not able to find the digital coupon when I go thru your links from my phone. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks for any tips 🙂

      I’m having the same issue.

Ok so I typed in the website (on my phone) then at the bottom of that page I was able to click on Desktop and then I was able to sign up for the digital coupons. I clicked on all kinds of texts and email agreements because I know I can cancel them but I just wanted to get to the right guard qpon lol. I was able to add it plus 7 others. But no more. Strange. Thanks Collin!!

dg could not get their own q to work last time i tried to use one—no one including mgr knew what to do-you could tell they wished i would take the q and go home–which i did- will not go back-good luck to all

DG is awful with coupons and the cashier is almost always having to redo prices to attempt to make them work. Not to mention the prices are often scanning wrong- higher of course.

My printed internet coupons are finally going thru at my local dg. So happy about that. Wasn’t able to use the $2 coupon i got for signing up a couple weeks or so back. Totally my fault for letting it expire.
I saw a news clip mentioning Dollar Tree had bought Family Dollar. Will be a done deal by early 2015 with majority shareholder agreement.
Not sure if that’s going to be s good thing or bad for D General.

I guess that explains why my family dollar was gone when I drove by there the other day. I had no idea dollar general bought them. Good to know!

      • v

“Dollar Tree” has bought Family Dollar.
