My local Walmart had 1/2 off CLEARANCE price this morning including school suppies and swim/beach/pool items. Just a note, all the items were in the front of the store however I found additional items in the regular toy section as well.
I’ve heard that Walmarts have additional sales on clearance, but it must be based on areas because none of the ones I’ve ever been to have had a deal like that.
we brought the little tykes slam ‘n curve(looks exactly like this one) 3 years ago for a little under 200 @ Amazon. One of the best investments!!! If you don’t have grass like me, just make sure you get some of those large sized foam playmats like the ones here, https://www.toysrus.com/buy/stationary-entertainers/multi-color-foam-mat-pack-8-piece-80-32321-12673552 But of course if you shop around you can find them cheaper as well.
I think they sell mats like those at the dollar store. You might only get 4 in a pack but it’s worth looking into.
This is the Little Tikes slam ‘n curve slide. “Glissoire” is French for slide. =)

I just spent a while thinking why are they calling it a slide slam n curve slide…translating without realizing it lol it’s good to know I’m still fluent enough to glide over it. I guess the kids need to learn French next 😛
Also our Toys r us had all of their kiddy pools 75% off last week. Toddler backpacks were 50% off. I go my son a TMNT rolly pre-k sized backpack for $5!

Aldi had their waterslide marked down from $250 to $99 today. I’ve been waiting all summer for this go on sale. Its still 90degrees here so we have plenty of time left this year to enjoy it.

How easy are those to maintain/clean?
We’ve used one for years for just the 3 winter months. It’s great! If you don’t let it totally and completely dry before storing it you will have some mold which might stain. It wipes down super easy though and during the season we really have no problem keeping it maintained (my husband didn’t so much love the big brown spot in his grass!)
One thing to note is that as the kids get older and jump a little harder on the slide, it wears the seams a bit and doesn’t stay inflated as well. I think it’s good for just a couple seasons before you’d consider getting a new one unless your kids are really young.

My mom was at Walmart last night and found an evenflo infant car seat (the one that Colin posted a coupon for a few days ago for $10-$15 off) for $30! She took the receipt back today with my $15 coupon to a closer Walmart but the seat was still $90 there! They told her to take the receipt and coupon back to the other store to get the difference of the coupon on a gift card. Very AWESOME find on her part.
She also found the ‘baby trend’ stroller (the kind that does not have a seat, but you attach your infant car seat to the frame of the stroller) on clearance for $15!!!
She also grabbed a couple infant bouncy seats w a blanket attached for $10!
There was also an infant play mat on clearance for (I believe) $12!!!
She found some MAJOR clearance scores just sitting up front by the registers. These prices were not at the other two Walmarts within 30miles, but I’m SO glad she was able to get these deals for her house and mine. 🙂
