Just scored big at my local Dollar General. Not sure if sale is regional or what, but they’re offering an extra 50% off already clearanced items including summer, food, lawn and garden, etc. I scored $0.17 packs of gum, $0.25 jump ropes, chalk, and kites, and lots of other goodies. Great stock up time for Operation Christmas Child!
They also had bottles of round-up for $1.37, a kitchen towel, potholder, and dish cloth set for $1, big bottles of lotions for $1.37, big planter pots for $2, potting soil bags, and lots of other summer decor items included. Definitely worth checking into!
Hello! I just went by my local Dollar General and they had all of their summer stuff for an additional 50% off!! All the pools, chairs, clothes were already 50% off to begin with but as of today it’s an additional 50% off of that! Great deals!

After this sale they will do their 90%off sale on the leftover summer items..I’m not sure the date, but confirmed this with a manager….but it will make each $1 summer item only .10 cent..after I did the math I figured I would hold out for that sale.. but I did score great deals on clearance fooditems (not all clearancefood was included in the sale) the Sundown adult Gummie vitamins at my store were only .69 after the halfoff and 2.00 off coupon also barilla pasta was clearance to .50 after 1.00 off 3 each box was .17 cent…. sales items do vary by store! my wife found some hot wheels for $.10 garden house nozzle for $1.25 beach towels for $2.00 extreme right guard men deodorant $.80 few other items i can’t think of.
I got a three pack of five blade razors for 2.50 and deoderants for $.50 . Just so you know, lots of personal care items available as well

2 of our dollar store have had kool-aid jammers in orange and lemonade on clearance. (1 store they were $1 and the other store they were $.60).

I got 10 trays ( the rectangle ones) and two bowls for . 37 a piece. I also got tums for 1.25 and had a coupon which made it free. I also got the color show nail polish for either .75 or 1.39 and they ended up being free with coupons.
MIne had 18 packs of Cottonelle toilet paper for $3.88 and garbage bags for $1. There was so much stuff!
Are the clearance items that qualify for the extra 50% off generally in their area or are all the qualifing clearance items together on one aisle?
Ours had two long aisles for the sale plus tables outside. A lot of items were in boxes labeled with the department. A lot of stuff
I found a lot of stuff, even items I could combine w/ Saving Star & Ibotta. I found 20 oz Bisquick for .87-.50 manuf coupon-.50 Saving Star=.13 moneymaker! Then the 4 boxes of Kleenex were marked from $5 to $1.25-add in the .75 Ibotta offer and I got 4 boxes for .50!!! Also found some cute Disney princess items for super cheap. I also found some great plush bathroom mats for $4.50.
Another suggestion: these items were all over my store as well as outside. So just keep looking around to find all the deals. I found mostly 50% off items but also some 70% off too.
My best deals: 37 cent Kraft BBQ sauce and 75 cent scotch scissors!
I found some glade scented oil refills on clearance for 2.70. so I paired them up with my $2 off 2 glade items and got them for $0.35 a piece! I also got 24 rolls of angel soft toilet paper for $2. 97, chapstick for $0.45, captain crunch for .37, and they had wax melts for .25 a piece. 20 things total for only $17. making each item .86!! I saved over $20 from actual retail price.
I should also add that the glade refills rang up at 1.35 each after the half off clearance price.
I stopped at two in the Pittsburgh area and there is tons of clearance. I got Kraft BBQ sauce for $.18, Purina 13.5lb dog food for $4, tons of baby items, and lots more. Definitely worth checking out!
I was able to get Purina Cat food 13lb bag for $4 no coupon needed and Littlest Pet Shop gift sets for $1.50..Pantene products for free or .33 cents after manufacture coupon:) angel soft 4 packs .25 and Scott toilet tissue $2 for a 6 pack Clorox cleaner and wipes around .80 cents this was in the Birmingham Al area

I live in kentucky and found some awesome deals today at a store that just had a remodel. boys, girls and baby cloths $15.00 outfit for $2.00. all summer pools and water toys. My grandbabies birthday is in the summer so I got his next birthday taken care of on the cheap. 6 outfits, two pair of shoes, pool and water toys.
I went once by myself and once with my fiancée. got 315.00 for 122.00.no more room in my place. got garden table 3.60 a piece. markdown foods barilla sauce 1.23 each. also my market marks down their meat when they have too much. only big store besides winn Dixie. got boneless breasts alrady 1.95 pound with the half off fot 2 pks at 3.00 a piece. they are the best chicken ever. tiki torches 1.12 each. no 5 off coupon. we live in a tiny town. the cashiers let us know before the sale. oh and all there summer clothes 5 racks of them for 2.50 each .got 70.00 worth.loved it. cant wait for the 90 percent off.
Went yesterday after I saw this post and bought 41 clearance items.
I went yesterday and loved what was on the $2 clothing rack. Really cute shirt/pant sets or onsie/pant/bib sets! I think I’ll wait for 90% off for the rest. Seemed like a lot of radom items.
Loved prev pj pants purchased here. went back for more, robes. never saw any sale. sales guy knew nothing. asked employee last night she said manager ‘doesn’t like to put up signs’ and said she hadn’t heard the pj robe discount but honored it for me!
