My kids had these when they were little…and 15 years later they are still in REALLY good shape (even after being used in a school for the past 10 years!) They are the PERFECT gift for a preschool/kindergarten student!

So timeless! I bought this 6 years ago – it is still like new and my 1 and 3 year old have been obsessed with it lately. My little one fits the pieces in by hand and the older one loves the magnets. 🙂
My daughter will be 3 in December and I am thinking about this for a Christmas gift… Do you think it will be too young for her?? It says for 3 and up but it seems pretty simple…

No, it is perfect. She can place the pieces by hand, or, to make it trickier, use the magnet on the pole to try to fit them. I have had second and third graders (and even an adult uncle at Christmas) find it a challenge to do that way.
My two yr old is playing with ours as I type this. She loves doing it both by hand and with the magnetic pole. It is her favorite puzzle out of all of our Melissa and Doug puzzles.
Any parent with a younger kiddo, this is an AWESOME puzzle. My kids had one many years ago, both loved it (girl & boy)….ages 2-4 probably would like this the most.

my son has had this since he was prob 2 and still plays with it at 6. there’s something about it that they love.. it’s also very well made
Kind of OT but I have an abc puzzle from m&d and it’s actually rally annoying that the letters aren’t completely cut out and it makes it kind of hard to teach the abc with it.
