Note, it does NOT have a lock, but protects important documents and items from damage… not bad for only $8.94 (regularly $89.99?!). As a kid, i was always afraid of a house fire. My parents gave me an old fire box to store stuff in and it helped. I was afraid of losing my favorite things, so i kept them in there when i wasnt playing or sleeping with them.

I bought 2 in the Portland, OR (Tigard) area. They were on clearance, but were signed at $45. The manager looked up other stores in the area, and most had some in stock. Thank you for the heads up!
Scored the last two at my local Office Depot in Houston, Texas! (Copperfield Area) They were tagged $25 each but rang up at the clearance price! Paid less than $20 for two!! 🙂
I was able to get 4 for $22 and change after tax. I went to an Office Depot and there was a guy at a table when you walk in he said if I go across the street to Office Max that they are tuning into Office Depot he would give me a $10 off $30 coupon plus I signed up for their rewards program and he gave me a $5 gift card. He called his store and said they had four so he put them on hold for me while I drove across the street. So I paid about $5.00 each, wahoo. Lots of denver area stores have multiple, call ahead.
That’s great news! Something similar happened here in Atlanta, we popped by an Office Max that’s closing…when we entered, there was a gal sitting almost directly in front. She gave us a free tote, $5 Office Depot gc just for filling out a slip w/name and email gave us two coupons for $10 off $30 purchase.
I was able to snag this deal for under $5 (out of pocket).

My local Office Depot did not have them in stock, but the rep was nice enough to have one transferred from another store. I paid $8.94 plus tax; no extra charge for the transfer/shipping 🙂 great customer service
