Hip2Save reader, Molly, owns this humidifer and sent me this email —> We think this product is amazing and have used it with kids when they are sick. It has an auto shut off feature so it stops once it is out of water. It also lasts longer than other humidifiers and has no filter.
(Thanks, Molly!)
We had this same one for years and it just finally broke. Thank you for posting this deal! We needed a new one before the winter months. 🙂
You are welcome, Jannel! 🙂
Can I use it as a regular humidifier without the Vicks just water?0
Yes Mona we have done it many times with just water. Works great!
Thanks!! I just ordered mine for pickup at a local Target store.
YW! 🙂
Thanks. Perfect for winter!
😀
Thanks! We are just looking for the warm mist, and see the deal! Yeah!
Great! 🙂
Can someone explain the difference between this product vs. Cool mist? We get pretty stuffy in the winter . TIA
I am wondering the same thing 🙂
Also, do you have to add the Vicks separately?
Warm mist and cool mist work the same as far as the benefits you get from the steam. The only major difference is that the warm mist has a warming coil, which generally makes it more expensive to purchase and maybe a little more expensive to run.
My understanding is that the cool mist is better to help clear congestion with children/infants?
Thanks for posting this! I woke up this morning and told my husband we needed one!
Perfect timing! 🙂
Thanks for posting this – we have had the same one in our oldest daughter’s room for 4 years and it still works great! I had just bought another one for our newborn daughter’s room from Babies R Us for $45. Since we haven’t opened it and I have a couple of things to return to BRU anyway and this is significantly cheaper, I ordered through Target and am going to return the one from BRU. My Target was out of stock so I couldn’t do store pickup, but even at $30 I’m still saving $15!
Just picked it up! Thanks!
Thanks so much for this post!! I have allergies and asthma so I really need to invest in this product. My mom will be super proud I finally brought one. She used it on me or my siblings when we got sick.
Thanks for posting this, however, it would have been helpful to know the pick-up flu essentials in-store promo was only good through last week. I decided to actually order it today after waking up with a sore throat from breathing cold air all night, and it’s not taking the $5 off my cart. Bummer.
