I plan to get some for my first grader. I wound say they’d work for 1st-4th grades. Hth!
1st-3rd grade. These are part of our collection we’ve started! Yay for great deals!!
My oldest, who’s a superb reader, started them before Kindergarten and LOVED them and it was the beginning of her love of chapter books — now she’s in fourth grade, and still reads each and everyone when they come out. Her and her first grade sister love them.
My son is a 2nd grader and about to turn 8. He loves these books!

How do you get coupons in the mail from Target? I’ve never received any.
I’ve seen lots of different theories, but it seems there’s no particular rhyme or reason to it. Often, it’s just luck. I have a Red Card, I shop there at least once a week, I shop the website, and I get all of my family’s prescriptions filled there. I do receive many mailers, but I don’t get all of them. Some people who shop Target as often as I do get none. If you have a Red Card, you will likely get some of them. If you get prescriptions using your Red Card, you’ll get extra 5% coupons that often come with pharmacy/healthcare coupons. If you create a baby registry , you’ll likely get the baby mailers. Often, my mailers are filled with coupons for items I regularly buy in Target with my Red Card, which I’m sure is based on computer tracking. Hope this helps.
Just fyi, I have a red card (just debit) and I have never gotten any coupons in the mail. So, maybe it is for the CC red card holders???
As an elementary school librarian, I can say these are extremely popular with second and third graders. They are good first chapter book.

My 6 year old son loves this series! And my 5 year old daughter loves to listen to him read them aloud! Definitely going to get some!!!

They are not buy two get one at my target. They are also $4.99 each by me.
I had to get them to ring them up for me first to check. The only ones advertised as B2G1 were the hardback at 9.99. I went to customer service and had them check. The paperback were B2G1 at $4.99, so in the end I got 3 books for $7.98.
These are such great books and a crazy good price! If we didn’t already own them all I would hop on this in a flash.
Great deal but not at my Target:( They are full price with no b2g1 free deal. But I did use my 25% off to buy 4 Diary of a Wimpy Kid books plus used the $5 off $25, so $6.25 a piece:) I was pretty happy about that!

Any deals on preschool board books? We read to our one year old daughter every night and wanting to build up her library!
I was able to price match some board books to Walmart and Amazon then use the 25% off on top of that. I’ve been wanting the Pout Pout Fish board book for my toddler. Target’s price was $7.99. I price matched for $6 plus 25% and got it for $4.50 :). I’m sure you could find other deals with price matching too.

So to price match books from Amazon and Walmart do I just print the Amazon sheet and go thru checkout with it? I was buying for a toddler and a 9 year old and thank you for mentioning the Pout Pout Fish board book. I hope they have it!
Magic Tree House books are the BEST. I read every book they had published when I was little. I highly recommend these books!

GOT IT!! Here’s the deal….ONLY the oldest books in the series are on sale. In my store they had books 1-6 behind newer Halloween and Christmas themed books. There were labels marked $3.49/B2G1….but they were behind the front books, so they were hidden. With the markdown and the cart wheel coupon, I was able to get six books for under $12!!!

I got my 3 books today each at $4.99 b1g1f for the 3 with cartwheel was 7.49. I got books 1-3. It did not ring up at 3.49

I just went to get the three books. Don’t forget they take off another 5% on the red card. II only paid $1.44 each.
