I have read on previous posts, that Savingstar will be adding another way to redeem since they have removed Amazon. Just wondering what that is and when it will happen

Just wanted to share a nice deal that I just scored at Target. In store Target is offering up a 20% off your ENTIRE PURCHASE!! Very few exclusions apply. If you go to any cashier they have the coupons valid 12/7-12/13 only so HURRY!

    • Kim

Has anyone else been able to get this 20% off at Target?

    • Sharon

I see a lot of Target stuff on here. I never shop Target because they seem expensive to me. I like others opinions if you have them. I like to save but don’t want to buy unneeded items or lead a complicated life trying to do it.

Some of these sites such as Savingstar seem complicated to me and maybe not worth the effort for small savings. Any opinions on the site?

When the cards were linked, Savingstar was great since it was an “added bonus”…I never bought anything just because it was on Savingstar or Ibotta, etc. But scanning receipts, uploading them then keeping track of all the receipts submitted through Savingstar, Ibotta, and other sites…that seems like a lot of work for a couple of bucks (or sometimes pennies)…I used to submit receipts but I stopped and my couponing life’s become less hectic. There’s still so many other deals even without these, it’s not worth my time! πŸ™‚

Thanks for your feedback. I think it does sound way to hectic and troublesome.

Hi Sharon, Depending on the store you shop, savings either post automatically when you use your store loyalty card or are given to you after you submit a picture of your receipt. If you use your store loyalty card, saving literally take seconds. Just click the offers you like and use your card at the store. You can also select offers while in the store if you use our mobile app. Here’s a full list of stores which shows if they are are automatic or receipt stores: https://savingstar.com/blog/participating-grocery-stores/ We also offer a Double Cash Back Mall for double cash back online shopping at over 800 stores. Thanks, Josh from SavingStar

          • Brandi

I have tried to use the double cash back through savingstar several times and never received anything back! So just beware…

Hi Brandi, I’m sorry if you’ve experienced any issues. Please note that purchases can take up to 10 days to post depending on when the store sends the data to us (it can be longer for travel sites or if your product has not shipped yet). Have you written to our customer service team? We’ll be happy to help you out. Please click the Contact Us link on our website. Thanks, Josh

Thank you for the information. I don’t have a smartphone and no apps so this program might not work for me. Too much hassle either scanning in receipts or pulling out my camera (no camera on my basic cell phone) to take a picture.

Hi Sharon, If you shop at any of our automatic stores you can register your store loyalty card, like a CVS card. Thanks, Josh
