      Yes.. The merchant canceled my order…. Saying they sold the items at a much lower price than they intended.. I found this very disappointing 🙁 I feel the discount should be honored…

    Call Amazon , go to amazon and click help button provide ur phone number and talk to amazon that u want to file a claim against the seller it’s called A to Z claim, they cancelled the order saying customer cancelled. At least it is documented that way. Plz do it.

    I had my order cancelled as well. I was just chatting with a supervisor on Amazon. I strongly made to request to have this cancellation as well as all the cancellations by Wilson’s Leather escalated to higher channels. I was advised to file an investigation by going to this link:

    I encourage everyone to file a claim to just flood Amazon with complaints about this. I’m going to go a step further and write a letter to Amazons corporate headquarters.

I used the link to let Amazon know, I did not cancel my order… Who would cancel an order at those amazing prices??! Also, I included the fact my credit card still has the charge. Wilson sure charged my credit card quickly, but is not in a hurry to apply the credit!

    Just chatted online with Amazon representative. He contacted the seller on my behalf. Should get a response in 24-48 hrs. If not, then file a claim.

    My order was cancelled as well. The cancellation email says the reason was “customer cancelled.” Wilson Leather in lying in saying that customers cancelled these orders.

    My second order was just cancelled. I guess they think if they cancel on Christmas Day, people will be too busy to notice. Second cancellation also said, “customer cancelled.” I think they are deliberately lying and saying “customer cancelled” because they know Amazon would not look favorably on their cancelling all these orders because they don’t want to honor the price.

    At no point can Wilson leather claim they didn’t have the items in stock. Because I just went to their web page and the items I ordered are in stock on it.

      Doesn’t it just upset you, I check earlier today and both of the gloves I ordered were in stock. I sent a message through Amazon to the seller and got a generic reply from Amazon. Also I posted a message on Wilsons Leather’s Facebook page. Looks like they have been canceling a lot of orders lately.

      I filed a complaint as well but unfortunately I don’t think they will feel compelled to fill the orders. From what I understand they have pulled all business from Amazon. I just want a refund for my money they have already taken from me. I know Wilson will never get any of my business again.

    Serious, not facetious, question….is the pricing error fault of Wilson’s or Amazon? Looking at the Wilson’s website, the same items that were advertised on Amazon are considerably higher priced. Their website mentions extra 30% off listed price for item, and extra 40% for two. Even with that discount, the pricing on Amazon was better. Was Amazon supposed to discount so steeply? I ordered some things too, hoping this works out for us all. Just wondering who should actually be the recipient of the complaint. I will say that indicating customers canceled orders is shady practice.

      Oh I know the prices were vastly different. Not shocked the orders were cancelled. I am most angry about Wilson saying I cancelled the orders and they still have my money. Them tying up my money prevents me from partaking in other after Xmas deals I rely on to pre-buy for next year.

    Come on. We all knew this was probably a pricing mistake. I think it is probably Amazon’s fault for not keying in the discount correctly. I don’t think complaining is going to do any good. It’s one thing for a company to honor a pricing error for one or 2 customers. This was announced on this website and another large “deals” forum. I’m sure they were slammed with orders and honoring all of them would be a detriment to the company. I placed an order and have not officially received a cancellation yet (I’m sure I will.) I’m not mad. Stuff happens. I’m going to move on to the next deal b/c there will be a next deal. Thanks for the possibility of good deal, Collin.

      I have no issue with them cancelling orders. I have an issue with them claiming it was customer error and not immediately releasing the funds.

    I was one of the lucky ones. I had been struggling to place an order for a jacket and 2 hats on their site. The order total should have been 107.88 with free shipping. I even called Wilson’s to place the order as the website kept telling me there was something wrong with my card. I tried by debit card, and a visa card and a master card. Wilson’s customer service was unable to place my order and later that day I found the items on Amazon. I watched in amazement as the order totaled 21.00. I placed another order right after and so did my boyfriend. All our orders were shipped. The same thing was happening to Wilson’s on ebay as well. It is Wilson’s fault not Amazon’s. They also pulled out of ebay where the same thing happened. They linked the orders to the discount script on their site, that’s what happened. They tightened up security this year on the Wilson’s website and people’s credit cards were being charged and orders weren’t being processed.

    I could see how this was a sick, shady way to advertise. Sure got a lot of people to check their items out, didn’t it? All of my orders were canceled. I left a message on their FB page, and I am going to leave bad reviews everywhere I can. Terrible business practice on their part.

    Ok. This is not happening! My order was cancelled on the 24th. I checked my card and the charges were there. However, I knew they should fall of within a couple of days as usual. But behold! I got double charged again today for a new order I didn’t place. So now I have two orders on my card, one on the 23 and one for the 25th. Please I will like to know if this has happened to anyone else.

      I got charged for 2 orders and both were cancelled. Amazon said I would not be charged unless the order shipped, I guess not. I guess after the complaints to Wilsons and Amazon, I will be placing a call to my credit card

    Chatted with amazon customer service. They stated an email was intended to be sent to me from Wilson’s that said, in short,

    “Thank you for shopping Wilsons Leather on Amazon.We apologize, due to a price/promotion error, we inadvertently sold items at a much lower price than intended. Unfortunately, we needed to cancel these orders. Your recent Amazon order (# xxxx) has been cancelled. You will not be charged for this order.Again, we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause….”

    and blah blah blah. The rep said they would file a complaint against Wilson’s for me and request that the order be fulfilled still (though I doubt anything will come of that). They gave me a $5 amazon credit for the hassle, which was nice of them since it wasn’t Amazons fault.

    The rep said that “When we find a seller’s out-of-stock sales are excessive, we’ll take action. I’ll forward this issue to our Marketing team to take necessary actions against this seller. We do take the feedback and performance records of sellers very seriously. We monitor seller performance and we’ll close an account when warranted. Though Amazon.com is a marketplace where many merchants sell their products, we have legitimate agreements with the seller to make sure our Amazon customers feel convenient purchasing with us. When they breaches the agreement, we take necessary actions against them”

    So, we will see if Wilson’s decides to just make this right or hope we all go away eventually. I wonder if they used the reason “customer canceled” to try to avoid flagging Amazon that they were the ones not fulfilling their agreement?

      I just received the email that the Amazon CS rep said would be sent out by Wilson’s. it was almost word for word what you wrote. I’m still really disappointed and hoped that Wilson’s would reconsider and fill everyone’s orders. It would be great advertisement for them as well as showing goodwill for their mistake. Disappointed but I still kinda knew that the cancellation was coming 🙁

    Filed a complaint form, chatted with Amazon, keep writing feedback wherever possible, and will contact my local news company too. I am not sure if it will do anything, but they made so many customers feel upset on Christmas eve – the time to be generous – shame to W.L.

    I got a cancel notice from amazon blaming me, and then a notice from Wilson that it was cancelled due to pricing error and I wouldn’t be charged, except I already was … Anyone get their $$ back yet?

    So I received 2 separate emails. 1 from Wilson stating the orders were cancelled due to a pricing error/mistake (as stated above). I received a separate email from amazon stating my order had been cancelled due to “customer cancellation.” Since Wilson leather did send an email “fessing up” and apologizing, I’m not really clear on whether the “customer cancellation” label came from them or from amazon. It’s confusing.
    For those asking, I don’t think anybody who didn’t receive an order was actually charged. Money is put on hold and may still be reflected on your account. I paid with amazon gift card cedit hand have received all of it back already.

        Wilson’s is posting this response on everyone’s facebook post now:

        “We apologize for the mixed communication. Unfortunately, we had a pricing issue due to human error that caused items to be sold at a much lower price than originally intended. As a result we had to cancel orders per our Terms of Use policy. Your order is being refunded. Thank you, Wilsons Leather Marketing Dept”

        Sure doesn’t look like they are going to honor anything. The good ol’ ” terms of use policy” excuse.

          Yep they told me they would honor my order and I haven’t heard anything since this am, I think they were blowing smoke up my bum. I would really love the hold to come off of my account.

        I chat with Wilsons Leather via facebook all day today. They keep apologizing and said there was a human error and “As a result we had to cancel orders per our Terms of Use policy. ”
        They won’t honor anything, they won’t do anything as well as Amazon. I emailed about this to my local news channel. Hopefully, they will be interested and will investigate this story. If not, no one will do a thing about it. It is their right if they have it in their policies. All of us can take this case to court if we want to, but I don’t think it will happen. The brightest time of the year 🙂 What a generosity.

    I recieved cancelation email today , mine stated out of stock. I checked Wilsons website and both of my canceled items are in stock and I was able to put them in my cart. Hummm! Sounds fishy to me. Waiting for reply from Amazon who says they are going to check it out with Wilson. Very disappointed with both companies, not hip2save. I

    They now say it was amazon who chose the phrase “customer cancelled”. Jenn, I think you should contact BBB, they say they are working as fast as they can to return everyones money, but they shouldn’t have charged it in the first place.

      There is a theory floating around that this while same was a scam in order to pad Wilsons end of the year bottom line. Considering they still are holding into all of our money I’m beginning to believe thisight be true. Our money will probable be magically released the first of the year. I myself am furious and am contacting my bank.

          Thanks for the #. I also called and spoke to someone who told me the same thing. I told her that I had placed 2 different orders and that I had received a total of 4 emails saying they were sorry they had to cancel etc etc and she said she did not see any notes saying they were canceled and it showed they were going to be shipped out today. I’m still not holding my breath because I don’t believe it will ship. I asked her if there was some way to verify her info and she said no. Lol!

    I called Amazon after speaking to Wilson Leather Mon (who told me they were being shipped out Mon lol) and the guy at Amazon assured me that I would NOT be receiving my orders. And he was 200% positive. So even Wilson Leather’s customer service doesn’t know what they are talking about! Crazy people!!

    I called the Wilsons number someone posted above, and the guy began blaming Amazon. Then he said my order would be fulfilled until he talked with his manager, who said no order is being fulfilled, but that the items are available at a higher price. What. A. Scam.

      I have been called 3 times so far trying to get me to place my order again at higher prices. I also keep getting bombarded with emails even though I have asked to be removed from their list. This company is harassing me at this point so I will be finally more complaints.

    Well, wonder of wonders: I just received my order in the mail!!!! My jaw hit the floor when my husband came in and nervously said “I found a package from Wilson’s Leather outside–what did you order?!?!” I squealed and said “That was for your birthday sweetie, sorry it’s two days late but honestly I’m thrilled it came at all since I thought the order was cancelled!” He is thrilled with his belt and gloves. On my credit card account the charge is still coming up as pending, so who knows how long that will take to finally go through. Still, I thought I’d update everyone so that you’re on the lookout just in case your order comes after all!

        Hi Karen! I did receive emails from both Amazon and Wilson’s saying that it was cancelled, so I really have no idea why or how the items still were shipped – maybe they didn’t get word of the cancellations to their shipping/order fulfillment department quick enough or something? Either way, it’s wild! I’m waiting to see what happens with this pending charge on my credit card, though – eight days hold and counting.

    I got several emails saying my orders (I made 2 separate orders) had been cancelled, both from Amazon and from Wilson’s. Imagine my shock a few minutes ago when I got a box from Wilson’s Leather. The most important order that I’d made went through! I got 3 purses for less than $38. The tags on the 3 purses add up to $520!! I am BEYOND THRILLED!! I just read all the comments above and I guess I’ll be checking my credit card statement right now. Thanks to everyone on here.

    I too received an email that my order was cancelled, but a package with a purse and glove just arrived on my doorstep with my full order (a purse and a pair of gloves).
