I’ve given up on mobile coupons.. They never scan and cashiers refuse to do anything about it
I agree. Just because it’s not a conrete coupon, they don’t seem to want to take it. When the system isn’t programmed right to automatically deduct, they refuse to manually enter it even if the size and product matches. More and more cashiers are becoming ignorant to the policy and ignore consumers explanation of the coupon policy.
Just out of curiosity, have either of you had issues when adding to PassBook? (If you’re using iPhone that is?) I haven’t had a problem in PassBook, but if I pull it up in Safari it scans maybe 1 out of 5 times.
yep, i actually use passbook. it’s not that the coupon doesn’t “scan”. it’s that it “scans” but doesn’t register with the item even though the size and product matches.
That’s the issue I will typically have. It scans and then doesn’t take any money off. Hm. Maybe I’ll send an email to Target about it. Why offer it when it will only work 25% of the time if at all?

Hi i stop at the customer service desk (an extra step, i know) . In gb they have been most helpful adjusting and giving cash back. Its an extra step but worth it sometimes when the savings is significant
The target cashiers have been telling us to go to the service desk with any price matches and coupons that don’t work. Then the svc desk says why’d they send you here, they could have done this.. It does save money but its a hassle.
