side note… the cheap ones on e-bay are cheaply made but work just as well. Also don’t get the plastic ones.

I was lured into buying this with the low price. And, yes, its super-duper awesome! BUT BEWARE … its SO awesome that you will find yourself buying more and more pineapples just so you can play with it :p
I have one and love it but lately Publix has been selling their “peeled and cored” pineapples for the same price and their regular ones so I’ve just been grabbing those!

I bought a bunch of these 2 years ago and stashed them away as Christmas gifts. I gave them away with a fresh pineapple and used reusable shopping bags as my gift bags. I still hear about how much people love them.

If you are on the fence and eat pineapple…you NEED one of these. This little gadget is truly amazing and worth the small price tag. You can cut an entire pineapple into chunks in a matter of minutes. And you have the outside of the pineapple left to do something fun with if you are creative.

Just a heads up, do not put this in the dishwasher. I did and the pieces never fit back together. 😥 hand wash only
I put ours in the dishwasher every time and have never had a problem. I have also only put it in the top rack to be safe.

I ordered this twice. Both times the black handle didn’t fit correctly and little black pieces of the plastic kept coming off into the pineapple. Did this happen to anyone else? Worked great but ended up throwing it away.

I also find these at aldi! I kept the aldi one at home and took the amazon one to cabin. Aldi one was a better quality and around $4.
Beware… Mine came shipped in a padded manila envelope. Needless to say it was a little bent and has never worked properly because of it.
