Hope someone enlighten me… I check out a few local Buy & Sell FB pages. Whenever there’s an Under Armour item, doesn’t matter what it is and the condition (with holes, stains), there’re always people lining up to buy them. We have a few clothing items plus shoes as gifts from my mom-in-law… I just don’t see what’s so special? Is there something else going on beyond the logo?

I feel the same way about NORTH FACE! What gives? I know it’s supposed to be great and all but it’s def overpriced and the fit is great if your long and lean but other than that? NO GO just my 2 cents

      • Shanshan

Yep I was thinking about that one too…

I’ve never tried under Armour products. But I love my North Face winter jacket. I have been use jacket for about 10 years and I live MA. It was expensive but this jacket is great , keep me nice and warm under tough cold weather. Maybe 10 years ago they made better product than nowadays.

My husband is a police officer and loves the under armour under wear, and spandex shirts. These are by far the most comfortable for him, as there as been occasions where he has worn them for 24+ hrs. And from my experience in washing several brands these ones hold up longer over the time.

I love Under Armour, but my husband and I buy the products for running and working out. The quality is really nice and a lot of the products have really cool features for keeping me warm/cool/comfortable when I’m out. A lot of people like to buy it for the name and the logo, I can see how it would definitely feel overpriced for casual wear. My nieces and nephews love wearing it for the name brand, for me, it’s function. I’d probably never buy anything from them if it wasn’t for running…to me, it feels like buying an expensive pair of running shoes to walk around the mall in. But you can usually find good deals at the outlets of you have one nearby. πŸ™‚

My fiancΓ© likes Under Armour but because he is a doctorate student, we can’t afford many of their items. However, Each year for Christmas I do get him a new sweatshirt from their outlet store online. They have different materials, for different reasons/seasons… Like I got him a workout jacket, it has a moisture wicking material to help with sweating, and to keep him cool. Another sweatshirt is water repellent (not like it ever rains in Southern California lol). Another hoodie is a lightweight material, but keeps him super warm. The sweatshirts are the only items I can see spending give or take $50 (outlet price) on, because that is a normal hoodie price no matter where you go..HTH

Lol it’s just like Michael Kors…..Not that special and people go crazy for his purses.(Fyi)Marshall’s carries Under Armour (boys ,mens ,women) for affordable prices.HTH

Quality is good but I don’t want a guy’s name/initials on my purse! However I just felt in love with their belted down puffer coat at Macy’s. Too expensive though πŸ™

Thanks all that give me another perspective. I will start paying attention to those functional features. Have good workout clothing does help one to exercise more.

I work at Under Armour and besides being a fun company to work for the products are quality. The big logo storm hoodies repel water and are very warm and comfy. I have not had an issue with any of my clothes shrinking either. I also think the logo is kind of the in thing for young kids too. 😊

They really should have discounts for linemen and utility workers too, if they are including first responders, they are the ones who are outside all day!!

Under Armour and their Outlet website both have free 2day shipping with Shoprunner!!

I have 2 high schoolers and under armour is all they like to wear with their athletic uniforms. They are the best for football gear. We live in Texas and the dry-wick fabric works and holds up through washings.

I paid 250 for my north face jacket 6 years ago. Best winter coat ever. I hate being cold but I’m a lifer in Michigan, north face is the answer. on UA, my son loves the quick dry shirts for wrestling but from a mom of two boys that stain ever, this brand cleans up so well, it’s amazing how clean the sweat shirts come after washed. Expansive yes, but only to those willing to pay full price.
