    the link is not working

    • K

      I think it’s a problem on scholastic’s end. Couldn’t get it either.

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I updated the links…are they working for you now?

        • Stacy

It looks to be a scholastic issue. I went to their website and it is not loading from there either.

  2. Amie

    Not working for me either

  3. Amy

    are the links working?

  4. April

What if I’m just a parent? Will they not let me into the book days book sale?

    • Denise Elsinger

Yes, you can go if you’re a parent. Not sure why it’s set up this way. I think it may be due to a conflict of interest with parents buying from the schools, but you can go.

We were getting our windshield fixed right next door to a warehouse and I thought it would be fun for my young son and I to check it out instead of sitting there waiting. I called to get more details before we headed over (it was cold and was on the complete opposite side of this huge block warehouse) The lady on the phone said that she was sorry but unless I was a librarian, teacher, etc. they would not let me in.

  5. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Hi all – I just updated the links. Can you see if they are working for you now?

    • Amy

Both links worked for me! Thanks!

      • Amy

Well not so much now… Lol

  6. camilledyan

    It’s still not working.

    • camilledyan

      It keeps saying…Page not found.

  7. vicki

    worked for me now. thanks

    • vicki

      nope, I lied. my bad.

  8. vicki

I lied. it took me to the scholastic site this time but says “page not found”.

    • vicki

even when I just go to the scholastic page and then to their warehouse sale tab it isn’t working…so it’s not you Collin!

  9. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Darn! I wonder if they’re having issues with their Book Warehouse page. Maybe try back in a bit?

    • Kimi

      Worked for me πŸ™‚

  10. K

Try going to store.scholastic.com. Then click sales & bargains. That worked for me.

    • vicki

this works but its not the warehouse so the prices aren’t very reduced even in the bargain section. nothing under $3.97 when I sorted.

      thanks though

      • vicki

but then, maybe the online sale isn’t going to be as good as the sales at the warehouse?

***Collin, the poster above me figured out a way to the “Sales & Bargains” section!

        • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks! I actually have a link to the Sale section in the first paragraph above! πŸ˜€ Also, there were quite a few LEGO, Peppa the Pig, and other paperback books on sale for $2.97! Hope that helps!

          • Aliza

Thank you Collin! I bought all the Peppa Pig and a few others too. I was able to combine the free shipping and the 20% discount that they gave me because they ran out of the free books through the Kumon offer. Only catch is that they match email address with the 20% discount. I think if for those that signed up for the free book but didn’t leave an email address it doesn’t work.

          • vicki

weird. when i sort by price on the sales & bargains tab, i don’t get those but if i search for peppa, then the less expensive ones came up. Thanks.

  11. Denise

It says “Page not found,” but it does work if you click on “Warehouse Sales” right above it πŸ™‚

The warehouse sale is amazing. I went a couple of weeks before Christmas and snagged about 20 books–GOOD books, great YA reads that would cost $10-15 at Sam’s Club as well as early reader bundles, for about $75 (we read a lot).

  13. Cara

The sale was so fun when I went a couple months ago! I want to go this time without my toddler so I can really shop;). Then again he’s the one who found the Harry Potter gift set hiding on a shelf – $35! My husband was super excited:)

  14. Hollie

I called and they gave me a location. The closest warehouse sale to me doesn’t start until next week

  15. Emilytwinmom

They stopped hosting the book sale in my area, i was so sad! I have been going for years!

  16. Ihearthip2save

The link worked for me just now. I had to reload the page a couple of times, but it worked.

We used to have a Scholastic Warehouse 10 minutes from my house, but it closed and now I have to drive almost an hour to get to one. I am debating if I want to do that or not. I really do not need any more books. LOL

  17. Tina D.

Link is working now. Closest sale is 2 hrs away for me.

  18. Stacy

The link is working now – thanks Collin!!

  19. jessica

If you are a parent , do you have to sign up? or can you just show up?

    • Cara

You have to sign up — they check for a pass at the door.
You are literally shopping their warehouse while they are working, so they need to know why you’re there:)

  20. katie

BEWARE if ordering online from them! They will charge you right away, but usually are out of stock and it takes forever to get it crdited back to you. As a teacher who has bought from them, I will not do it again No matter how cheap it is. Last time, I got charged twice and my entire order was canceled. They sent me a $5 off any purchase email to compensate for the problem, and that order fell through too. Then I got a box of junk from them and when I called customer service they informed me it was somebody elses order and to keep it bc shipping would be expensive to ship it back.
