Try Purina Beyond for the kitties, Goodlife Recipe, or Rachel Ray, all great foods with same ingredients, all without corn wheat or soy…my fur baby loves them.
You can print $2 off coupons for the beyond and rachel ray which are $9-12 for 3 or 4lbs at most Wal-Mart or Food Lion stores that have them in stock.

It should work on cat food, bc not only does it not specify dogs or cats in the rules, but the bag in the far left of the picture is cat food. One specific kind of ProPlan is all my cat will eat, so this is great. Thanks for the post!

Oh, that’s funny, I see it is a dog. I was thinking it was a white cat as furry as my own! Good catch. Maybe they’ll do another promo for cat food soon, especially if there was a lot of confusion about whether it applied for cat food as well.

When you take the survey, it tells you what type of food your dog should be eating (according to them). If you buy another variety of Pro Plan, will the rebate be denied?

You sure can. Just print off your Amazon invoice and either upload it as you would a regular brick & mortar store invoice or mail it in.
It may have just unique to us, but my dog got really sick when we tried this food. It was very unusual, as she pretty much has a cast iron stomach. If you change to this you might want to try giving your dog just a little bit to make sure it agrees with them. I will say the Purina people were nice when I called and even offered to pay for vet if she remained sick— they are a real company. Good luck!
This dog food only get 2.5 stars on dogfoodadvisor.com; also Purina has been in the news for the last 2 years because many of their ingredients come from China. Be warned. Some dogs do well on this company’s food, but many don’t.
Not all foods are for all dogs. I tried feeding my dogs blue buffalo and it made both of them very sick. Switched back to proplan and everything was back to being good

Are USA. Also proplan is made only in USA based plants that only make this food. Finally, the proplan plants are have a quality seal that most other food companies do not. Please do your rsearch most ratings websites do not equally present the whole story
Although there are some negative reviews I highly suggest this food. I was introduced to it through my vet and my chihuahua loves it. She has a very sensitive stomach and horrible skin allergies but this food has cleared up many of her issues. Thank you so much for rebate, can’t wait to get her a free bag of food!!
This is literally the only food that my dog will eat. She LOVES it and we have tried at least a dozen dog food brands before she would eat anything.
I only have cats but will try to score a bag of the dog food for the animal shelter.
My dog was on “special” food that the vet sold me. It was $34 for a 10 pound bag. For more than six months my poor dog had anal leakage and anal itch. She would drag her hiney across the carpet all the time, to the point where it would bleed. It was disgusting! Anyhow, on a whim, I switched to Purina ProPlan Focus and within a week the leakage stopped and within 10 days she stopped dragging her hiney across the floors.
I cannot speak for anyone else, but this is now the only dog food I will buy.
Even if you don’t have a dog, purchase it and donate to your local shelter!! They are always in need of food and supplies.

What a convoluted and confusing rebate submission process! I went through the entire survey about my dog’s specifics, entered all my information, received the email that was “supposed” to have the rebate submission information included in it (it didn’t) and wound up having to send an email because in order to even begin the rebate submission process you have to have a “unique key”. For crying out loud! Now I have to wait 3-5 days for a response to my “Where’s my unique key?” question?? Grrr!
I have the same problem. I went over the site several times so frustrating.
Has anyone had luck with this?
I also can’t get to the rebate form without this unique Key. Very frustrating. Anyone get through this?

After two less-than-satisfying emails from different folks at the company that handles the rebates(both insisted no key was needed) I gave in an just submitted mine the old fashioned way: snail mail. I have received a confirmation email that my rebate is being processed.
You must take a short survey about your dog to get your unique key. You make a “plan” for your dog, and they email you a link telling you the best type of food for your dog (yo u don’t have to get that kind though if you don’t want to) then when you click the link in the email and start filling in the rebate form, the code should automatically be there

Thank you for your email. There is no unique code required if you are submitting through the authorized website. Just click on “Get My Rebate Form” to submit your information. When you enter the website you will be given the option to either submit/upload your receipt online, or submit by mail. After you select your preference, your purchase information must be entered to pre-submit your rebate request.
If you are still experiencing difficulties please select the “By Mail” process and follow the procedures to complete your submission or call our office for further assistance at 1-877-322-8355 M-F 8:30am to 4:30pm eastern standard time. I have also attached a “mail in” rebate form if you would prefer to print the form and mail it in to the address in Del Rio TX along with the required documentation. We apologize for any inconvenience.
