Walgreens: Possible Brach’s Easter Candy ONLY 39¢
If you haven’t already, be sure to print this rare $0.50/1 ANY Brach’s Item coupon (prints with NO size restrictions!). Note that this coupon does print with a Walmart logo but it is a regular manufacturer’s coupon; the fine print also states a limit of two identical coupons in the same shopping trip.
If you’re a Walgreens shopper, the small single-serve bags are priced at just $0.99, so only $0.49 after coupon! OR – keep your eyes peeled for possible Easter clearance on the bigger bags of Brach’s candy, as you may find the Easter varieties reduced in price by 70%! If so, you could do this:
Buy Brach’s Easter Candy bags possibly on clearance for $0.89 (Reg. $2.99!)
Use the $0.50/1 Brach’s item coupon found here (found under zip code 23460)
Final cost ONLY $0.39 for the big bags! SWEET!
(Thanks, Wild for Wags!)
I tried 3 stores and Walgreens says that this couoon is considered by them to be a “competitor coupon” since it has the Walmart logo on it. Therefore they will NOT accept it.
Doesn’t it state that it’s a manufacturer coupon on it?..
I used mine on a bag of brachs jelly beans at Walgreens. No problem.
They will scan the coupon at register and if it goes through, they will put it in the register. If it doesn’t go through, the cashier will look at it. If they notice the Walmart logo, they will state it is for Walmart ONLY. You tell them it says Manufacturers Coupon, which could be used anywhere and they will say: “It won’t scan here, you CANNOT use it here”.
I had a similar problem many months ago. I tried to explain that it was a manuf coupon, just suggesting it’s available at WM, not that WM is the only store to purchase, nor was it a WM store coupon. Neither the cashier nor manager would budge. I cancelled my entire order. When I emailed CS about it, rep replied that any coupon that has another store logo was a competitor coupon and therefor not accepted at Walgreens. Well I fired back an email with a copy of several store coupons and the IP I was denied using. I circled the manuf coupon on top, the bar code, the remit address on the bottom, and it even stated redeemable at food, drug and grocery stores accepting coupons bit. I sent a walgreens monthly coupon, rite aid in-ad coupon & VV, a CVS MCM coupon and a Winn Dixie in-ad coupon. I said THESE are store specific coupons, which would be competitor coupons b/c they will only scan at those store registers. I still got a reply that the manuf coupon was a competitor!!! At that point, I was done with Wags. I think I’ve shopped there a handful of times since then. I just don’t even bother with these type coupons, b/c I won’t get anywhere, and I am not going to raise my BP over stubborn cashiers that don’t understand what a competitor coupon is.
I got brachs easter chocolate covered berries (acai…etc) similar to brookside for $0.89! I knew i shouldve printed this coupon! Darn it. Oh well 2 bags for $1.78. Not bad.
My local CVS had the 16 oz bags of Brach’s Classic Jelly Bird Eggs, on clearance, for $0.75. I used my coupons, to get them for $0.25 each.
Walmart has their Easter Candy 50% off, these will be FREE after coupon for Brach’s Jelly Beans 🙂
I found bags of Brach’s chocolate caramel swirls on clearance for $1.16, so only $0.66 after coupon, reg $3.79. Not in the Easter aisle, but the regular candy aisle.
