I have 2 cards – a green AMEX and a Delta AMEX. It was listed on the green card but not the Delta card
I also have the Delta. Checked all cards on the account and nothing. Next time, hopefully.
I have two Delta cards and it was on both! I never get the good offers so thank you, Collin for posting about this one. I usually get such lame offers that I quit checking! 🙂

I saw online that costco will no longer carry amex. Starting april 1 2016? If they dont i will cancel mine i only use it for the cashback for gas and buying at costco.

I only used AMEX because of Costco and was sad to hear the news. I think AMEX made a mistake by being too greedy and not coming to terms with Costco. They lost a huge client!!! After their contract expires, Costco will partner up with Citi Visa. I intend to get this card. I think the transition will be smooth (I love that place and shop there several times a week for business and for our family).
I agree with you Jean. Have the card for Costco gas & groceries. They did lose a big client. I will sign up when the new Citi Visa is available. Shame on you AMEX.
Ditto for me. Will go with whatever card Costco offers. The only thing I will miss from AMEX is the Small Business Saturday at Thanksgiving. With 2 cards, last year that meant $60 back 🙁
or maybe it’s Costco who got greedy. an agreement has to be fair to both sides and perhaps Costco wanted an agreement tilted in their favor. u do realize that the “rewards” you get are paid for my the credit card company and not Costco, so such a tilted agreement would be having a cake and eating it too
@kristine that is a fair point…..however, remember they old VISA commercial “….and they don’t take American Express”? That is a reflection of the fact that AMEX charges merchants a higher % for the privilege of accepting their card along with VISA. Costco is offering something special. EXCLUSIVE ACCESS to their customers. Across all credit cards, typically, 60% of card holders carry a balance and get finance charges each month. That is where the “big” money is made by credit card companies. How many people overspend in Costco? How many people buy big ticket items at Coscto? Costco customers tend to spend money. Not knowing the “deal” under consideration, we will never know for sure, but with what little we do know, I think this was a mistake for AMEX. They are under the delusion that all of us will stay with them “just because they are AMEX”. Wrong.

I have two different types of cards and Amazon wasn’t on either. Haven’t had a useful offer since Small Business Saturday.
Also, check your Walmart BlueBird Accounts, if you have one. These have Amex offers tied to them as well. Although, mine did not have this Amazon offer however! : (

I have an account that my husband, my 2 daughters and myself all have a card on the same account. It was not on my husband or my cards, but both of my girls had it on their cards. So if you have more than 1 card tied to the account be sure and set up a separate user id and pw with Amex and check those cards as well
Thanks, Tammy. I didn’t realize I could set up a separate account for the other cards. I figured it was worth trying to see if it would have this offer. Bingo! It does even though the main account does not. Nearly all the other offers are the same.

me too! I applied for one when I was booking flights on JetBlue. their offer still exist for a new card: spend $1,000 within the first 3 months of signing up for the card get back 20000 travel miles. This equated to a round trip flight for me to visit a family member halfway across the country which was awesome! my daughter applied for one when she was ready to purchase a Mac. she had saved the money so knew she would pay it off right away and earned a free round trip flight. Unbeknown to us amex also offers an additional one year warranty when you purchase a Mac using their credit card.
All Amx cards double the warranty on all products.

Okay, figured it out. They did change it on me…not there this time =( I got the one at Christmas but not this time. We have a Hilton Honors Amex card.

I don’t have it. My guess is Amazon and American Express looked at who they thought would be good to give Amazon a try i.e. people that don’t shop on Amazon often. I live on Amazon so they know they don’t need to convince me! LOL I did get $25 back if I spend $75 on Chewy.com which I’ve seen fellow Hipsters recommend. The doggies will be happy!

It seems like there is never offers from the AmEx tied to USAA. I check just about everything that H2S posts about AmEx and offers and there are never any there.

Lol I want this offer! I did not get it on my AE Blue Cash card. I called and the told the offer is a new offer, and was dispersed randomly and by geographic region. He said it quite possible I may get this offer next month or the following month. From that standpoint it makes sense to spread it out. Can you imagine all of us couponers bombarding Amazon with $20 orders?!! Lol
