Starting May 4th, the current Rite Aid Wellness+ program will become Wellness+ with Plenti. With this new program, you will still earn wellness+ points at Rite Aid on purchases and prescriptions (which can still take you to Gold Status giving you 20% off almost the whole Rite Aid store for one year).
Instead of +UP Rewards, you will now accrue Plenti points on select purchases at Rite Aid. These Plenti points are valid for at least two years instead of two weeks and can be used at Rite Aid and certain other Plenti partners (once you’ve earned at least 200 points, you’ll be able to start using your points for savings at certain Plenti partners). I heard that some people got a plenty card in the mail. I didn’t get one, did anyone else not get one?
I received one, but funny thing was, it was several days after I had switched cards in store!
same here, got mine instore, read a Rite Aid Facebook post that a lady received one in he mail, felt snuffed, got one in the mail a few days later, asst mnger says Gold members received one in the mail, hold onto it just in case they say we should switch to the mailed one (but our guess is that either is ok, that info from our old cards rolled over to the new just fine and that the mailed card was not any more extra special, that our info carried over any special tags like Gold status) (says we can call in also to check, I’ve sent in a facebook post and facebook message on it but oddly no answer back yet)

Gold and Silver Members got them in the mail…everyone else has to wait until MONDAY and get them in stores…which is silly given the sales start Sunday, but I guess they wanted their Silver and Gold members to have a little “perk”.
My store has been giving the cards out for the past few wks. There is even a table at the door with the brochures. If you have a Wellness card, the cashiers have been converting them over to Plenti cards at checkout. Also telling everyone they cannot complete registration until Monday May 4. My sister got her card today and she is neither Silver or Gold.

We started switching to new cards on April 20th. New Plenti card works just the same as old one and the new Plenti program (starting this Monday) is OPTIONAL and you can enroll only if you wish to (if you shop at other retailers listed on the card you will then earn points at all of those places using just this one card). You can get your Plenti card today and take advantage of the sales tomorrow.

Guy said they were not allowed to hand them out until may 4 (Monday). I walked out. Seemed strange. I’ll try again Sunday.

SavingStar fans, make sure to go in and ‘Add’ a second Rite Aid card—use the info above the barcode on the Plenti card (not below)—I don’t have a clear answer from SavingStar or Rite Aid on if this NEEDS to be updated—but seems to me that the old card is closed, seems that old History carries over to the new card, but I’m logivally thinking that ‘new’ info and purchases would Not carry Backwards to the old card (seems separate from RA still being able to ‘see’ old info in their systems, a point they were stuck on, my best bet is to add the Plenti card as a second card and then I will delete the old one a month or two from now)
On the Plenti website there is a household offers section, seems to be just like saving star, I think it Is savingstar, any offers that I have not activated on saving star show up plus in that section you can link other loyalty cards in (such as to help purchases count towards like your buy $25 get $5, or other activated offers. Check it out when you have a moment.
Does this change the deals with SavingStar if you purchase with a Plenti-linked card? Do you still get the cash in your SavingStar account, or just the Plenti points … or both? I’m reluctant to link my loyalty cards because I really prefer getting the SS cash….

I received the plenti card in the mail…(supposedly if you have gold or silver status, then you should receive it in the mail). I went to the store to have it activated. what they do is scan your new card, then your old card…you will need to verify your name, and phone number. the new card is now good, and the old card can be thrown out. they said, in order to start to earn the new points, you need to register your card. if you don’t register, you cannot earn and redeem points… yet…you cannot register your card until monday 5/4, even though the sale starts on sunday 5/3. …figure that one out !!

However, those earned points cannot be used until the card has been fully registered. Makes NO sense to me, that registration could not have started like yesterday?!! The site is going to be bombarded and I will bet it will be bogged down, and then *more* complaining!!

You can increase the Ziploc bags coupon to $1.50 at the Rightathome.com site when you sign up.
Just to clarify, some stores were signing people up early for the program and some are waiting until tomorrow to sign up people. It all depends on your area and what the district manager wanted to do.
Just curious if anyone knows how it will work when you want to redeem your plenti points? Are they used basically like how Up rewards were used, just a $$ discount on your purchase? Also, can you redeem plenti points on purchases where you are earning Plenti points to keep them rolling?
From what I’ve read, once you have $2 (200 pts), you can start redeeming them. I think you will have to let the cashier know you want to redeem points, then you will verify the amount you want to use on the key pad thingy. And I have also read that YES, we will be able to roll points! That was the biggest downer with Walgreens, so I was super happy to read we will still earn points if we use points.
I usually don’t shop at RA. But… with the new program I will give it a try. There are some things I think I can use so I’ll just give it a try this week.

Collin, I was in Rite aid and the Conair deal is 1500 points on 30.00 purchase(they was putting up correction stickers) that stated must spend 30.00
Sorry, it is 1500 points on a $30 purchase. The cashier told me last night it was 2. But the sign does say $30.
I received the new card in the mail but I won’t be using it. This new program just isn’t for me. I’ll stick to what work and that’s mainly CVS. Once, my Sunday’s were comprised of trips to Rite Aid and then CVS for couponing. Now, just CVS and Walmart sprinkled with a little bit of Target if I can roll gift cards. Plus, when I walk into the Rite Aid’s in my area, they seem so desolate.
So now you get points instead of paper UPs. You don’t even have to shop at any of the other participating retailers. The points can be rolled strictly at RA and from what I understand will also take care of tax. IE if your total is $8.55 including tax, you can use 855 points (if you have that much banked) and pay nothing. I think that is pretty sweet , considering at CVS I have to pay tax even if my subtotal is zero.
Does anybody know how saving star is going to work with the new rite aid card? It’s not fully activated until tomorrow.
I have been reading and so far everyone has had success entering the top 16 digit number on the Plenti card (not the number underneath the bar code) I added mine on Friday and it has been verified. Also if you do Ibotta, they are supposed to be adding a field to enter the Plenti card soon. Ibotta replied in an email when I asked, that if I were to purchase an item from the gallery at RA that I can email CS with a photo attachment of the product UPC & receipt for credit.
As it turns out the regular Dove shampoo/conditioner that is sale priced at $2.99 with the $2/1 and $1.50 VV q from April is not only free, but also tracks for a 400 plenty points when you buy $12.00. I know because I saw the tracking at the bottom of receipt. You may have to buy in separate transactions as mfq / vv beeped sometimes (no rhyme or reason:) Also be sure to keep a close eye on overage. I had to add items at times to cover it.

This pleito points its just like up rewards. I did my deals yesterday for this week and was able to accumulate 600 points in one transaction. To be how at I like it then most because the points don’t expire and I don’t have to rush and buy unnecessary items so that I don’t loose my pretend money. I was skeptical at first but now that I did try it I see it’s even better than before.
I’m still waiting on my Plenti registration to register. Keeping my fingers crossed that my plenti points that I bought items for yesterday will all be accounted for. They don’t have a very good way of showing you what you earned as far as Plenti Points go. This concerns me. But overall I think this will be a good program because you don’t have to use them right away (you have 2 years to use your pts instead of only 2 weeks). Also I like that you can roll them unlike Walgreens! Yesterday I paid $25 out of pocket and I should be getting $22 (or 2200 pts) back in Plenti Points. So technically I only paid $3 for everything I bought. Sounds like a good deal to me : )
Plenti points should be accounted for on your receipt. Just like with the old UPs, there should be a breakdown on the bottom. Also, under the total, my receipt is tracking like this –
Plenti Points Earned: 0 (didn’t earn any on the transaction)
Plenti Points Used: 0
Available Plenti Points: 600 (from purchases on Sunday)
2nd transaction –
Plenti Points Earned: 1500
Plenti Points Used: 521
Available: 79
Tomorrow after 6am, when I log into the app or online acct, it’ll show I have 1579 available pts to spend.
My receipt doesn’t say that. All it says is My Wellness+ point total as of 5/4/15 is 1. Then future down, it says Buy $30 SLCT CONAIR, Get 1500 Plenti Points total spent $0.98
and then it says
Offer Limits Reached Limit
200 pts/1 SLCT SURE/BRUT DEODORANT 2
10,000 PP P&G Sweepstakes Entry 1
But when I logged into my account today. It says welcome, it could take up to 48hrs for points to show up.
I’m gonna wait til tomorrow and see if they show up, if not I will be giving them a call.

I just got off the phone with the Plenti Points customer service. They were fantastic, if you have questions call them! I have now registered my card online and linked my Shop Your Way rewards card. Now I’ll earn points for all my online purchases at Sears/Kmart and she said they are working to add in store purchases as well. You may have more stores in your area, they ask for your zip code online and will tell you what store cards you can link. Plenti is also adding new partners too, it sounds like this is a brand new out of the box program altogether. I was really disappointed to lose ups, but this might be great! Oh, also if you are AT&T you can earn points for your monthly bill!!
