Don’t count on it! My Ragu rebate was unlocked and wasn’t set to expire til 5/14 but they removed it over the weekend and refused to restore it.
You have to look at the time. Most of them expire at odd hours after midnight. Like if it says 5/14 @ 2 am, then you really only have until 5/13 to redeem the offer. The only time an offer is removed, is if you didn’t do a task to “hold” it in your shopping list.
Sorry, no, offers do sometimes just get removed early. Ive had it happen more than once even when saved to my list.

I know the referral code is used for getting credit when a new user signs up (and they are automatically added to your team then!).
I think Laura is correct. It’s only for new users and if they unlock and redeem their first rebate within 10 days.

Yes! I can’t access the videos to unlock them. Error message on all of the new ones. I have been with Ibotta for over a year now and this has never happened. I wrote to their support but nothing…..

You don’t. Just complete the tasks and when you go to redeem you can select the produce from the menu without scanning.
It is really awesome that the any brand rebates are now included in earning the teamwork bonuses! It was really frustrating when they weren’t included in the early days of teamwork.

I think that we have to stay friends, but I have another “hip2save” friend and I just block her posts and use her on my team.
I don’t think that you have to stay friends. I have a teammate that I am no longer facebook friends with. But he either doesn’t use the app (which is what I suspect), or it still shows him and doesn’t show him as having any rebates towards my team’s goal because he always shows as 0.00.

Team
Your team, which can be found under the Teamwork tab, consists of all of your Facebook friends that have an Ibotta account and have linked their Facebook with their account.
To be on another Ibotta user’s team, you need to be friends on Facebook. It’s as simple as that! Once you are Facebook friends, you should see each other added to your respective teams within a 24 hour time frame.
The team is utilized to complete Teamwork bonuses, of which there is a new teamwork program each month. By working as a team, you can all earn even more cash back together!
***NOTE: Your team will also include any successful friend referrals as well as your referring invite to Ibotta if you used one. If you are seeing an individual on your team that you are not Facebook friends with, it is likely that they are one of your referrals or your referring invite.

I make fb lists then I add the person to a specific list, and can control what the list sees, which can be nothing. FB has a lot of privacy settings.

If you are worried about adding strangers on your Facebook account here is a safe way to do so. After the friend request has been accepted you can click on the friends drop down tab on that friends Facebook page and change the status to “restricted” by doing this they can not see your location, any Facebook posts on your wall, or your pictures (other than your cover photo). I hope this helps and makes everyone feel a little safer 😀 That being said if anyone would like to add me to their team through Facebook search “Natalie Forsythe”.
