My store didn’t have the Spec K Brownies tagged, only the cereal bars or pastry crisps.
I see the problem with the Special K deal is it’s tracking for 3 items, not 2 like the ad says. When I went to another store and bought the cereal (1st store didn’t have what I wanted), the ECB didn’t print. Manager had to force print.

Can I use a $5off $30 diaper with a $5off $25 just for you coupon? Or Do I have to spend a total $55? my cashier said I could only use one. Even though my total b4 coupons was $65 the register did not take the $5 off $25. Luckily they gave it back but now I’m confuse. Pleas help.
You can use both coupons as long the amount is $55, and u know what last time i used both of those coupons with my total amount of $30 before tax and it work fine
thanks, but I think CVS is changing how the register accept the coupons now. I went to a different CVS and purchase $25.48 and I try to use that $5off $25 plus manufacturer coupons and ECB and it still kick it out. I’m in the state of Illinois so maybe its just here.. I hope its just this one time because if this changes couponing is going to get harder.
yesterday i went to CVS in california, using $5/25 coupon, $3/15 coupon, $2/10 coupon, 4x $3 huggie coupons
4 Huggies $8.99 each = $35.96 – $5 – $3 – $2 – $12 = $13.96 got back $10 extrabucks.

We’ll cvs on telephone rd Houston tx changed their policy from now on one cupon per purchase ! Meaning if cupon says one per purchase there only taking one cupon ! So, if we have multiple cupons we can only use one! Example p&g limit 4 others only one cupon ! As it is getting harder to shop !
Next time you ask the cashier how many items i’m purchasing. 1 per purchase means 1 coupon for each item, you’re purchase 4 items so you’re using 4 coupons.
I know the policy ! I been cuponing for 20 yrs and, I had never had a problem But, it wasn’t the cashier is the manager that said this : new orders per district manager – and like she said customers have been complaining but, there not changing their status until they get new orders ! I understand the one per purchase ! But, trying to explain to someone else it would be wasting time, unless customers call customer service and complain!

This is the email I received after asking why I wasn’t able to use my $5off $25 knowing I spent more then $25 and the $5off $25 was scan first…..I am sorry to hear that your $5 off $25 coupon did not redeem as expected. When coupons are used on a transaction at CVS/pharmacy stores they are applied in a particular order. Any ExtraBucks are applied first, followed by manufacturer coupons. After those coupons have been applied, the dollar off dollar coupons will be applied to the remaining total. Finally, the percentage off coupon will be applied to the new subtotal for any qualified items purchased. Please note that promotional and sale items do not qualify for percent off coupons. I apologize for any miscommunication you may have experienced in regards to our coupon policy.

There seems to be a problem with the computer programming, and rather than deal with THAT issue, they are spinning it as having to spend the amount of the $/$$ AFTER coupons, which is NEVER the way $/$$ have applied before. I got the same scripted reply myself after an issue a few wks ago, to which I replied back my subtotal AFTER manuf coupons & ECB’s (which I thought were treated as cash??) was still over $40 and does not explain WHY my $10 off $40 was voided off. The reply was “my email has been forwarded to another dept” (tech I think) and someone would contact me.
Well when I did not receive a reply, I called, gave my reference # and got transferred a few times til I finally talked to someone, who clearly was NOT understanding. She kept saying $10 off is after all coupons. I’m like Ma’am, please listen. My subtotal WAS over $40 after manuf coupons & ecbs, yet the $10 showed on the screen as “pending”, the cashier totaled and the coupon voided off, as well as several coupons that printed from the coupon center. The cashier voided the transaction and started over, and the $10 STILL got kicked out!!! At that point, I had to leave, so I instead handed over $10 in ECBs to cover the discount coupon that did not apply, paid and left. Why offer these discounts if they are so troublesome? I’m tired of getting screwed over a dollar here, a dollar there, it adds up, and is making ME a very unhappy customer.
After a few minutes on hold, she came back and offered me a $10 GC by mail for my trouble. That came in the mail today, and when I went online to verify the balance it said $0.00 . Seriously??!!! I think I am going to burn down my ecb’s next week, there is a CVS Cash Card deal and be done with CVS for a while.
glad I’m not the only one who was having trouble. I thought for a second that maybe its just me not understanding how coupons work but I went back and only did a deal for diaper which I had a $5 off $30 diaper. The cashier scan manufacturer coupons and ecbs first AND then the $5 off $30, which my total was less then $30 after scanning coupons and ECB, and it went though no problem. So I am emailing them back with a picture of my receipt so they know their repose to me doesn’t make sense. I’m also going to keep that receipt in case I have future issue. overall I think i’m just going to stick to small multiple transaction and the cashier can just deal with it.
All stores get reimbursed for manufacturer coupons by the manufacturer so I dont see why they would say a store coupon is only after manufacturers. Seems like they are double dipping to me. Stores are so strict on coupon policies for customers but its a free for all for the stores and how they enforce them. Couponing began to cause too much stress and confusion so I have cut back. Glad I have a little stockpile to hold us over.
Help needed. In checking the coupon policy, I think I can use a BOGO coupon and a $off coupon. I remember that the order you give the coupons matter. Is it BOGO first and then the $off? I appreciate any help.
Usually a BOGO manuf attaches to both items, YMMV if the store will allow a $ (or cents) off manuf coupon on the one you’re “buying”. If the $ is a store coupon, you can def stack them with a BOGO manuf.

For cvs, I have found that most stores are enforcing strict coupon policies, as each store manager is making up their own rules. Some only accept the expired cvs qs two weeks after, some one month, and some one week. I have found that the 24 hour stores are the ones that are still accepting the expired coupons no matter what, atleast in Michigan, it is that way. Good luck!
By the way, I have done the huggies deal before ( a couple weeks ago) and mega stacked with the $6/$30, $2/1, $1/1, 25% off, cvs qs and the $3/1 man qs. Most of the diaper coupons you can use one in a transaction and as long as they have diff values and are not duplicates, you should be able to use them…of course depending on your store and the expiration dates.
