This printer is hit or miss on quality. I bought it off amazon and the first one said there was a paper jam right out of the box and there was NO paper in it..HP tech said it was a defect (reviews suggest a common one), I returned it and the second one would NOT recognize card stock to print, returned that one and so far (three weeks in) the THIRD one seems to be working like it should..fingers crossed..

DON’T BUY THIS!! I got it in nov of 2014 and have had NOTHING but trouble. Will not let me use any kind of ink other than the highest priced HP cartridges. Some of the cartridges I ordered were HP but were not from the last few months and they wouldn’t even work. Very very shoddy made. Wireless works hit or miss. I have had to reset so many times I can’t count. I wish I could have my money back.

If you contact customer service on HP’s site they will help you. And most printers have a year warranty. I had to contact them recently when I was having trouble with my printer.

You can you use InstaInk with this printer you pay anywhere between $2.99 to $9.99 per month depending on which plan you choose. From their website: HP Instant Ink is an ink replacement service. Your printer orders Original HP Ink when you’re running low and we ship it straight to your door. So you never have to worry about running out of ink again. They have a promotion right now, if you buy an eligible printer you get the first 3 months free.

I agree I bought this as well and have nothing but problems with it, it constantly says I can not print because it is offline whatever that means so I have to uninstall and reinstall anytime I want to print and that’s a pain if I want to print only a couple coupons

I have a very similar hp. It’s awful nothing but a constant hassle.
I won’t ever by hp again.
I got it in a black Friday deal for $49

I have this printer and I love it. Bought it off Amazon 2 years ago and have not had any problems.Mine uses 61 HP ink.

Can you use this just as a scanner? Want to make sure you don’t need ink cartridges in it in order to scan.

I love my HP Envy Printer. Mine is a 120 and it is a few years old and it works like a charm. It stays connected to wireless and I have not had a paper jam ever. I only use genuine HP ink. I learned the lesson of using cheap ink on a HP printer 10 years ago – it ruined the printer. I did try a cheapo $80 HP printer before getting this one and it was poorly made. Mine was about $300 new but I paid just $100. Its heavy but I have it on a printer cart. Love the scan feature. I scan all my rebate info into my email to save printing them. I use mine everyday to print shipping labels for my business.
