My hubby rarely uses a coupon, but he fully supports me doing it. He even brags about how much we’ve saved and what we get. As crazy as I get, I’m not sure our home could handle two couponers. ;p And thanks for all you do, Collin.

My husband gets the “bless his heart” award when it comes to couponing. Easy deals like one item/one coupon he has no issue with; however, anything with stacking involved or cartwheel/ibotta is 100% me. He gets flustered if they don’t work as expected.

Ok don’t freak out but I have never used the cartwheel at Target so do you have to show the cartwheel deal on your phone for each product of does it come off automatically when they ring up the product???
You show the barcode on your phone and it will deduct for each item that you have added in your cart (up to 4 like items per offer, unless stated otherwise). You can also print out the barcode to have a hard copy. Collin’s hipster Lina did a how to post –>

The code doesn’t change, it’s unique to you, so even if you add and delete offers on your phone the same code scanned will work for the discount.
You have to sign up for an account on Cartwheel by Target. Then add all your offers you want. Then there is a barcode on your account and when they scan that barcode it takes the discount off on each offer you add on your account that you bought. You can show the barcode on your phone or you can print it out and have them scan it. The barcode number never changes.
First I want to say I just saw you video on how coupons saved your life and you made me cry! I’m so PROUD of you!!!! But back to our honeys and their reactions, well my boy hates it, I think he is embarrassed and he hates how long it takes, but the funny part is he tells all his friends and brags so I don’t know guess he is actually happy for me and my family after all….but the funniest thing is if I’m not with him and he is at the store he out of habit looks for the best deal too hahah .. ( you don’t have to answer this but watching previous videos you had nice teeth, why do you need braces now..? )

I think rash preventer is a new product. The butt paste is awesome! I saw the inventor on Oprah ( I think) saying how natural their stuff was, you could even use it on your lips! I was like, nope! Lol
My husband likes a good deal. Uses coupons, excited about sales. But then blows hundreds of dollars away in the stock market. So with us it is 2 steps forward, 200 steps back.
My hubby does not use coupons unless I clip and give them to him. Also constantly forgets to use mperks # too. He is lucky he is cute or I might not be able to look over those coupon flaws! 😍

Kayla and Chris, I have the same kind of husband. He doesn’t enjoy my stories of savings at all, but he DOES ENJOY the savings when he can OFTEN go out with HIS guy friends to have a big time out at a restaurant or event (using my savings!) haha
I love couponing and I love him, so I just “deal” with it. It makes me proud of myself though especially when I can gush!!!

2 years ago my hubby was like yours, so I stopped to coupon ( to show him is it worth to coupon)…So I did groceries couple times ( no coupon used or watching for sale) and when he saw that our account was low , he asked me :” Can you do what you did before ?”… After that he is ok and happy but he can use couple coupons ,no to big deals like I do…

When I’m behind a guy in line who is not using coupons (cashier’s sometimes ask if there are any coupons before ringing up purchases)….I sorta do that “The Rock” raised one eyebrow motion. While putting my stuff on the conveyor belt, I keep an eye on his purchases….thinking “I have a coupon for that”……”and that”…..etc…
Can’t believe all the savings that is missed out on.
And at my favorite store….there are a few men who take the cart and check for the items on the list…while the wife/significant other takes the longest of time choosing which variety of a product that want….a long amount of time…so much so that the guy goes on the next mission to get another item….while she still is pondering just which one to get.
I pay attention cause I’m ready to get to that shelf area to get an item so I can be on my way to the next thing on my list…but am patiently waiting for the “decision” to be made. Hmmmm….sometimes having the guy give me a half smile and 2 raised eyebrows….sorta like a “I know…. she is taking way too long” motion. I give em a smile back….and that’s just how it is.
I luv to see the guys participating in the savings routine.

My husband doesn’t coupon on his own but seeing how much I save helped change the way he thinks about spending and saving money. Now he buys used instead of new golf equipment and does more home/auto projects himself that we might’ve hired someone for. Major savings!

My husband will use coupons if I give him the exact ones to use. He would never take my binder and search on his own lol. But at least he doesn’t get mad when I take a little longer trying to score a deal!

My husband and I both use coupons. He is actually the one that got me hooked on coupons after hearing a coworker talk about the deals his wife gets using coupons. So he told me and it’s been a year since we started. Even our kids get excited. My son, who is 4, will ask when he wants something, do we have a coupon for this? And my daughter, who is 14, loves handing the coupons to the cashier, scanning the cartwheel – my account is on her phone then pay with my Target Debit Card. My husband is a cartwheel fanatic, especially when he finds clearance electronics that just seem to be on cartwheel. We can score some awesome deals for our home or save as gifts.

They did, it was tragic! I had it clicked to print, and then it wouldn’t print, so I closed out, and it was gone! If only I’d been on just a few minutes before. 🙂

My husband started couponing 7 years ago when we had our first daughter. He wanted me to get into it. It took me about a year (I wasn’t that interested/broke my hip/had major surgery, etc), but once I got into it, I took it to a much higher level than he had! He’s grateful for me couponing, but he can’t do all the stacking, etc that comes along with it. He certainly cheers me on from the sidelines though!

Hi Collin, Did you go to Target on Sunday cause I noticed you have a huge selection of Loreal products? LOL! I went to three stores and was disappointed to find shelves were empty. I like to know if I buy two colors which is not my color will they let me exchange without having to pay extra or do I need to wait till they are on sale again for $7.99. As much as I LOVE shopping at Target I have been frustrated whenever they do giftcard specials cause most times shelves are empty by second day and they won’t issue rainchecks for gift cards promos.
I did exchange once color at Target, ( needed lighter) I had reciept. HTH

I’m pretty sure the barcodes are different and someone emailing you their coupon would be considered coupon fraud.
Mfr q do have different barcodes but target q are all the same.
Actually Target coupons now have unique user ID’s. They are printed underneath the exp date on the coupon.

My husband will use a coupon if I give it to him and tell him specifically what to do. He doesn’t stack coupons or use any savings app but bless his heart he does try. my boyfriend hates going shopping with me if i’m using coupons… then again, he hates being at the grocery store in general. he’s learned that if when he’s buying his coffee drinks at walgreens to type in my phone number to get the sale price and give me the coupons if any print out for him when paying. so hey, that’s a step in the right direction! I’ve also convinced him to at least put in my mperks number at Meijer if he ever shops there without me (which is so rare since I work there). I mean, he hates what little space we have in our apartment and that my extras take up some space, but then loves to not say he ran out of something until late at night so thinks it’s convenient when I just go and grab him an extra lol

There are summer coupon booklets by the registers at my Targets, in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. They have a $1.00 off Smuckers Topping sauce…Target coupon.
That, coupled with the .55 printable manufacturers and the cartwheel makes them a Money Maker!

My husband is not a couponer, but likes my deals when I get them, though he thinks I go a little over board but not to the point he thinks I am crazy. I think he knows this means we can eat out or go places more because of all the money I save.

My husband totally supports me couponing and he will even coupon himself if I hand him the coupons he will use them. He will even go as far as being in the store and call me up and say hey do you have a coupon for this.

Yes I get headaches from those scenarios at Target. That is what they want…to make it so difficult, we just give up because we need our brain cells for other activities. ha ha
