Target: *HOT* Olay Professional Pro-X Cleanser Possibly ONLY $3.19 AFTER Price-Matching
UPDATE – Sorry for the confusion, but it appears this deal may or may not work. Some cashiers may not allow you to price match a gift card promo. Please keep this in mind before heading out to get the deal.
Here’s a sweet deal you can possibly score at Target on Olay Professional Pro-X cleanser (after price matching):
Buy 1 Olay Professional ProX Cleaner 6-oz $10.19 (price match with Target.com)
Use the $2 Olay Pro-X item coupon found here
Pay $8.19
Get back a $5 Target gift card (for purchasing 1 Olay product through 6/27)
Final cost $3.19!

NOTE – Walmart and Target will price match an item on many sites (including Target.com!) – you’ll just need to show the price on your mobile device or bring in a printed page showing the current price. Before you head out, be sure to print the Price Matching Policy and keep it with you when shopping. And YES, you can use manufacturer’s coupons in addition to getting the price match. See all the details in the Target’s Price Matching Policy OR check out the Walmart Price Match Policy HERE.

(Thanks, Cornelia!)
Yeah I price matched their online price for Brita pitcher and Brita filters and I got a good deal from their target online. So you can definitely get this deal! (:
I price matched Cerave sunscreen to target.com today and used a coupon! Great deal! I didn’t know you had to price match target.com at guest services… the cashier I went to was very rude about it. So just a heads up for anyone else that didn’t know this.
The cashier I was helped by was not rude so I guess it just depends on the person.
Wow! What an Amazing deal.. Thanks Collin. There’s no way I would have known about this deal with you. Off to Target I go.. 😃
You’re welcome! 🙂
Is price matching done at the register at purchase or at guest services after purchase?
Guest service before purchase .
The target price match policy says it excludes price matches on items “giving” a gift card in store. A lot of store will not allow this.
Competitor price matches on items where Target or the competitor is offering a free gift card. the policy states this and i’m taking it as you cant price match if target is doing a gift card promo – so i dont think this will work
But it’s from their own website so that rule doesn’t stand.
My stanzino purchase from the other day was canceled!
Same here. I only ordered 1 dress.
My target won’t allow price matching with gift card promo. They say you get one (price match) or the other ( gift card), but not both.
When I was price-matching this item at my Target yesterday, I was ready and willing to pay the $10.19 -$2/1, so $8.19 (which is still a good price considering original retail). However, when at customer service, I asked if the gift card promotion would apply too (I didn’t think it would), and the worker said yes –I believe the register prompted it. No issues at all for me.
Target’s coupon policy doesn’t allow gift card after price match as stated above. It will be either Price match+manufacturer coupons or manufacturer coupons+target gc.
It is specifically against the Target Price Match Guarantee to price match on an item giving a gift card. See bullet 8 under “Price Exclusions.”

Colin, you may want to delete this post. Oops! Mistakes happen.
Happy for anyone that can get this deal! Silly that stores can be SO different (MANAGEMENT). The Target I go to won’t price match AND honor a GC promo with a purchase like this. They will however, price match and honor a coupon based promo for a GC such as this week’s AWESOME promo. I price matched 3 Cerave items to target.com, and the difference was 20% & 38%!
$12.14 became $7.55. $8.99 became $7.19. Still had 3 $6 Cerave coupons, so my total was $5.09. I used a $5 GC from contact solution purchase yesterday (that was also a great deal with coupons!), so PAID $0.09 cash! AND GOT ANOTHER $5 GC!
Would’ve been $0.04 had she deducted the reusable bag discount, but I let it go! lol
It sounds like your store does. Since you were able to pm the lotion, use coupon, and get a gift card 🙂
They honored the GC promo as it was a coupon, and not attached to a specific item. I’ve tried the other way a few times with a few different Customer Service cashiers and no go. Haven’t given up, just keep running into the same 3-4 cashiers that won’t do it. Doesn’t hurt to ask, right? The one that did my transaction today is one that wouldn’t give me a GC and price match on Calendula Cream 3wks ago. I asked if it had triggered a GC, she answered yes, but because you’re price matching I can’t give it to you for free.
Hi Heidi, do you mind letting me know details of this transaction ? What did you purchase ?
A couple things I use a lot during gardening season 🙂
2 Hand Creams / $7.19 online

Subtotal (after $18 in coupons) was $3.93. + $1.16 (6.875%) tax on $16.93 = $5.09
