I went to Target for the baby sale, bought 4 big boxes of pampers, 2 formulas and odds and ends baby food, the total was $208 before coupons. The manager told me gc items did not count towards the $40 off $200. She took off the gc’s for the diapers and formula and then took the $40 off. I thought that was not right. Anyone else have this issue?

Yep, she said any item that had a gc did not qualify for the threshold coupon. So it was one or the other.

I just did the same thing, 4 big boxes of pampers diapers + additional items to get to $200. I got all 3 GC, two $15 GC for the pampers and then the $40 GC for spending $200. I would definitely go back!!!

No!!! That’s total b.s.!!! As the cashier scans items, the computer automatically tells them to give back a gift card. after two boxes, it prompts a gift card…after another two boxes, it prompts another gift card… after they scan the $125 or $200 promo it prompts for the $20/$40 gift card…

I just bought 4 boxes of diapers, baby snacks, and other odds and ends for my baby. My total before coupons was $208. After coupons I paid $174 and got back the $40 gc and 2 $15 gcs with no problem the computer automatically prompts it
obviously, they have no clue what you are talking about. They think you are talking about their Threshold brand, not that you were using a threshold ($/$$) coupon.

Amy, the last time I emailed Customer Service, I received some crappy response like that as well (about whether or not I was allowed to use coupons AFTER a gift card coupon). I would just try a different cashier the next day. That’s what I did after leaving all of my items at the counter, lol. But she accepted my coupons without any questions.
I went back and spoke to another manager, and was issued the gc’s and coupons they missed. Yay!! It pays to stand your ground 🙂

What is the GC deal for the pediasure?
Lots of clearance items in the food section. Ortega fajita seasoning $0.65 and there is a $1/2 printable. Tasty Bite noodles $2.45. I believe there is a $1 off on Hopster and I got a $2/3 Target coupon at checkout. Classico different varieties on clearance for $1.65 and I still had the $2/2 Target coupons. Other products: cake mix, rice, cooking spray, canned fruit etc.

Yes I have. It’s a sweet deal if you already have coupons for the shavers. Also, just a thought, maybe you can also add the $1/2 shaving cream coupon from this past Sunday’s insert. If you’re getting two free shavers and your target lets you use a coupon for a free item it’s a nice add on. My target lets me do that but I haven’t tried this idea yet.

Technically yes IF you find a cooperative cashier…Target limits you to 4 like coupons in a transaction. If you find an awesome cashier, they could put your last 2 coupons in manually to have the outcome you describe!

On the Meat Deal # 1 scenario ~ is there supposed to be a $5 gift card for the $20 meat purchase or just the $5/$20 coupon? I bought 3 Purdue ckn strips (the strips were $7.58 ea but the nuggets, etc were $5.99 but the coupon says to be used for strips) and used 3 $1.25 coupons and the $5/$20 target coupon but did not get a $5 gift card as mentioned in your example. Should I have gotten one?
