My kids and I grabbed a few today–had everything from a magnolia wreath to white ceramic horse head bookends to to faux succulents and greenery to kids summer craft kits!

Mine is the Austin area is doing this. They also got photo albums grab boxes of colors for $2 for 3-4 albums. $2 for all 4!

Lol, yes, we wound up with three , I think,out of four bags!
I got 6 photo album, 18 patriotic shirts, 2 wooden stationary holders, 5 wine holders, 2 wooden magazine holders, 15 kids slippers, 1 porcelain ice cream holder, 2 booklet of paper placemats, 8 small photo albums, some plastic flowers, etc.
Before I get disheartened, was each item in it’s own $2 bag or were they kind of mixed to get to at least a $2 value?
I used to work there and make the bags. It was left over things. You know those .50 items. I tried.to make the bags into a theme. Scrapbooking in one bag, kids crafts in another. But while i did that some other people just threw whatever
Each bag the tags altogether can be up to a couple hundred dollars worth. Well that’s what happened with the Christmas holiday season. I have not done the summer. But I had gotten literally hundreds of dollars worth for around 20 dollars. But that was sticker price

Kim, it is a big bag where there are many items inside. Each bag costs $2 each. You get different types of items in a bag.
Reading some of the comments, are these bags just stuff that have been in the store for awhile that know one wanted? Someone got six photo albums who needs six thats a lot.
I doubt there were 6 photo albums in one bag…she said she bought 5 different bags.

I think it is kind of like playing the lottery since you don’t know what is in each bag! Not every bag is going to be great, but you might score some great gift items or crafts for the kids.

I use to work there as well. Its mostly seasonal items that dont sell.. Or its the like $1-$5 items, trinket items. Most of the time it was worth the $2! I did my best to mix the items up.. But a lot of the employees dont care so you might get multiples of one item.

I just picked up the last 4 at my Michaels I’m riverside ca.
I got one! Well worth $2 just for the excitement of it! But I did see a large tin container and they did it for me!!!
The Michaels in Blaine, MN had them also. I did not buy any, but I did buy some floral arrangements they had marked for $2 each, summer ones. SCORE! They were regular $59 to $69!
Was surprised to Make Market items in my $2 bag. Cork, letters, storage boxes.
I got 3 this morning, but they were almost gone. I was a little disappointed, but I did get a couple of shirts, some flip flops and a cute stationary box. The rest were those wooden letters that you paint….but they were all W’s. Lol.
I literally laughed out loud when I read the sentence about the wooden Ws

Silly idea but maybe donate the W’s to an English class for the who what when where kinda idea. 🙂 just a totally random thought. Or you could kinda connect them on the corners to make a cool shape and decorate like a wreath. Like if you had four W’s arrange them to make a square shape in the middle and connect together. Or instead of a wreath you could make a super cool baby shower gift and turn it into a mobile or something to hand from the ceiling. Yeah I’m crazy I know!!

The store near me had medium sized boxes instead of bags! There was a lot of stuff in each box. Each box was only $2.
Ours too! I bought the last 2 boxes – they seemed pretty filled! And they had 2 more over sized bags filled up! I bought all 4 and dropped them off to my kids staying at their grandparents house this weekend! Hope it was a lot of fun for them to open! I can’t wait to see what they got!
My sister went last night (Moorpark in So.Cal.) and they were all out of the “regular” $2 Grab Bags, but they had “floral” Grab Bags still available. Hmmm?
My box had assorted denim stuff in it. Yes, denim ha! Denim canvases of varying sizes. Denims bows. Hilarious.
It did have a cool metal “L” which is my son’s initial so that alone was worth the $2 to put that up on his bedroom wall:)

So i picked up like 25 boxes…at 3 different stores..some came in boxes and some came in bags (small and big). It had ALOT of things in it I am a photographer so it has some great props in there like Letters alot of cork style…everything actually not just the letters. so here is a break down of what I got…that I have opened so far haha my husband has more bags in his car from where he works…
BOX 1: 12 – 4th of July Shirts, some flip flop, sm burlap sacks for jewlery
BOX 2: 8 cork desk organizers, 1 cork file organizer, 2 chalkboard desk organizers, cork mat for floor
BOX 3: 12 Cork wrapped wine boxes (circular shape)
BOX 4: Picnic stuff – 5 set of cups, 15 sets of napkins, condiment organizer (2) All paper products..and BBQ sign like 2×5 (in)
BOX 5: Random stuff..tissues, confett and some desk stuff like paper clips and tags
BOX 6: Kids crafts and activities including the died kits (3)
BOX 7: 5 Stationary Sets, Blank Card sets
BOX 8: 3 large photo albums, 2015 grad stickers and decor, small 2015 album
BOX 9: Random this Im using for props like cork and denim Letters, 2 small denim wrapping som fake flowers.
and like i said I have A TON of stuff in my husband car lol so excited!! woo
Mine only had a bunch of bags of XS flip flops. But ai found some cute photo albums on sale elsewhere in the store…
The Michels in KC, MO didn’t have any. One had 2 floral grab bags the other had a big clearance section where everything was 60% off. Lots of stuff under $1.
The one in Ft Smith, AR didnt have any either. However they did have a huge display of 70% off items that were really cute! I was able to score 3 makeup bags, 3 compact mirrors, 3 mani/pedi kits, 3 soft head bands to hold your hair back when you wash your face, 1 bar of really fancy soap, 1 big plastic mason jar cup which is so adorabld, and 3 various sized lunch containers. I was able to use a 20% off coupon as well! I ended up paying just at 18 bucks!!!

Does anyone know when they do this again? Did it in Sept and they said they usually do it every season so wasn’t sure if that was after halloween or after thankgiving
