Thank goodness my local Meijer has started carrying Persil! Using coupons at Walmart is always a hassle.

I agree. Wouldn’t allow me to use my bogo playtex coupon on a pack with a free razor.

This is now at Kroger also.

Is this better than Tide? I have a front load washer and use Tide but I would like to try this for stain removal…I have 3 boys that are always getting stains on their clothes. Any suggestions on stain removal? I have used Oxiclean, Shout, Dawn and Fels-naptha.

I would say this is on par with Tide. It is Europe’s version of Tide, and now Henkel’s bought the company and brought it to the U.S. I have many friends who used to live overseas that are *very* excited to see this on the shelves!

I also have three boys and am a loyal Tide user, but I LOVE Persil! For stains I have found that Dreft stain remover spray gets just about every stain out 🙂

      • Jessica

Never thought of Dreft for stains. Do you perfer Tide or Persil?

        • Mrs O

I think Id have to say Persil. I just get such good deals with Tide since its more available.

I just bought Persil last month and won’t be going back to Tide. Our clothes are so much cleaner. And I have a busy son and a husband who works construction.

      • Jessica

That’s awesome…I am going to try Persil. They have a money back guarantee in their website so if I don’t like it, I can get my money back. The only bad thing is I have 2 large bottles of Tide to use up if I like Persil better…lol!

        • CrescentCityCurly

I suggest using the Tide for towels and sheets…things that don’t usually have alot of stains. Once you run out of the Tide then you can use the Persil exclusively.

          • Jessica

Any suggestions on how much to use per load? My front load washer only requires 2 TBSP of Tide per load. I had read front loading HE washing machines do not require as much detergent per load.

            • trace

you can use the same amount as the tide since it too is HE. HE required machines will use less soap and use less soap if you have a water softener too.
