We have had this set and the dinosaur set and endangered animal set for a few years now and they are AMAZING! They’re nice big size and they are really good quality, none of them have color faded (and a few live in the kiddie pool outside) no peeling or anything like that I would highly highly recommended them 🙂 my 2, 3 and 5yo love love love them!!

Personally I hit up Savers thrift store & tend to find these animals & others like it in the toy assortment bags, that range from $.50- $5.00 . I wld say 90% of the time they are in like new condition!!That’s how we get all our little people.
OT:
It’s also how I stock a prize bag I keep handy for good behavior/achievements etc. buy a cheap bag or two & put them all in a gift bag.and when it’s time they pick something.

Our church nursery has these and they Are 1000x better than other large animals I have seen in preschool classrooms.
Just a heads up. If any one ordered these make sure you check them out. My first set came missing the gorilla. I wasn’t going to exchange them as I was surprised they had such good reviews when the ones I ordered the paint job was terrible. But my son loved them so I decided to exchange them since the one I received didn’t have all the animals.
Long story short just got the replacement sent today. The difference is insane. Newer set is smaller (still giant) but solid heavy plastic, and realistic looking. The original I got wth the miss gorilla was large but light, and soft bendable plastic and the paint was terrible and they were beat up like they were used. Honestly they looked like something from the dollar store. I reported it to Amazon and they are looking into it but if you received these just check to make sure you got the right set.
