Costco has their Hunter Boots on sale for $79.99 (regularly $150)! They are sold out of a lot of sizes, BUT Nordstrom will price match (I contacted Nordstrom via live chat and they price matched it for me).

Nordstrom price matching is ONLY for in stock items and the exact size & color (you cannot price match the item if the size you want is sold out)

They are out of stock in a lot of sizes but you can order them at Costco.com but it’s just back ordered….so if you want a steal and willing to wait for them, I think it’s worth it since retail is $150!

I just checked and all the sizes that have been unavailable are all on back order. The only sizes that are available in most colors are 5 and 11

Torn on size…my daughter is 8.5 or 9 (depends on shoe…) and it says to order down a size.
I could get the liners for the boots & she would wear socks – anyone think a 9 would be fine?
I am the same…sometimes I wear an 8.5, sometimes a 9. I ordered an 8 and a 9 and will return the ones that don’t fit. If you think she will wear socks with them, the 9 will prob work.

I know this is terrible but…..if I bought online at Costco the wrong size/color could I return to Nordstrom saying they were a gift with no receipt and exchange for the right color and size? Do you think that would work or does Nordstrom use the pop labels for returns?
I would suggest to just order from Nordstrom. I just got off the phone with them and they made price matching very easy. And if they end up not working out, Nordstrom really does have the best return policy. They’ve returned items months later that did not hold up for a full refund. And shipping both ways is always free!

Please don’t ruin return policies at generous retailers for the rest of us. Because of people taking advantage of these policies rei went from lifetime returns to 1-year.

Here is somewhat of a solution for you all. If you do not have a Costco membership, live chat or call nordstrom, they can check prices and they also see what sizes Costco has available. The matte ones I wanted were not available in my size so I got glossy in order to be given that price from nordstrom. Since nordstrom has amazing customer service I plan to take the glossy boots to the store when I get them and exchange for matte. They won’t be used and it is still a fair way to get my boots. A friend also told me the Costco ones seem to be thinner…..might be seconds, so its better to get from nordstrom anyway :).

I got the right size but again nordstrom has amazing customer service and I don’t know if the 8 will fit me so I might even change the size if I need to and they will gladly do it. I’ve seen shoes from Aldo at nordstrom rack for sale, so with them the customer is always right and they make it work
I normally wear a size 7 1/2 so I got a 7 from Nordstrom. It’s too big and I need a 6. Nordstrom guy over the phone didn’t let me exchange for a 6 because Costco didn’t have anymore 6’s left. He said he had to check Costco. Did anyone have any success exchging with Nordstrom.
I exchanged my Nordstrom hunters that were Costco price matched. The sales lady asked me how I got the price, but, she eventually honored the exchange…
I got one both from Costco and Nordstrom (my size was back ordered at Costco so I went ahead and got it from Nordstrom in case I wouldn’t receive my item at Costco). They seem very similar couldn’t tell if one was thinner than the other. I’m thinking of returning Nordstrom since Costco’s return policy is much better.
Per the phone rep, Nordstrom is OUT OF STOCK on the tall gloss black. Costco is taking back orders in that color though.

They are totally worth it. They don’t leak and they feel a ton better on your feet than cheapos at Walmart or target.
This brand is very high quality and will last a long time. I think in the long run it can be better to invest in fewer quality pieces that will last multiple years rather than having to buy a pair of $20-40 boots every year. In the long run you might even save money in terms of the cost per wear. I used to buy lots of low quality and cheap clothes and shoes and am trying to wean myself off it and save up for nicer things instead – It’s hard, sometimes inexpensive things are so appealing (especially with all the hip2save deals)! I just recently got rid of a bunch of things in my closet and had to own up to the fact that the $10-20 I had spent on each item would have added up to a couple quality pieces I would still want to wear. However, I did still keep some things that didn’t cost me much and that have lasted me a LONG time, so cost definitely isn’t always indicative of quality…
I agree! I’ve stopped buying cheap clothes and started buying quality brand clothes off eBay or on nordstrom sales. Another good tip is only buying items you know have good reviews. On Nordstrom’s website you can always tell what the high quality items are. Customers always review there and are very honest about size, fit, quality, etc. For example, I finally bit the bullet and bought a pair of Hue jeggings. I previously bought some from Target on sale, only to find they were terrible quality after being washed. I wished I had saved that money and invested in something that other reviewers have said has worked for them and met quality standards!

Bought a Navy tall shiny size 7, black tall matte size 8 and red tall shiny size 6. One for me, one for my SIL and one for a friend who doesn’t have a Costco and even had it shipped to her house. She sent me the money via paypal and got herself a pair shipped to her door (backordered of course, but still such a hot deal). Merry Christmas to me (because that’s about when we’ll receive them. haha). Love Costco’s return policy, so happy to wait for a backorder knowing I’m getting something legit from them.
Tried once and was told they were no longer honoring the price. Then tried again via live chat and the operator did it immediately. Got 2 pairs for my wife. At that price it’s like bogo. Even the operator couldn’t believe the price. Thanks for the heads up. Can’t wait to see her in her boots

Just tried the Live Chat at Nordstrom’s and since Costco’s website did not have the Hunter boot in the same style, color and size IN STOCK (original tall, matte black, size 7) Nordstorm would not honor their Price Match policy.
I was able to do this deal last year in Nordstroms. No problem it was easy peasy!

Yes they will. Or the adjustable hunters actually work for me (the buckle is in the back)
No, when you exchange you get store credit for the exact amount you paid for them. So unless the huntress is also $79 you would have to pay the difference

I called Nordstrom yesterday and they said if Costco has your size in stock, they will honor the price match. Otherwise, they will not, so I just ordered from Costco.com and will have to wait 3-4 weeks for them to ship.
