   Anyone have this? Is it good for stand-alone play, or should I buy the regular game too?

  This is the regular game, they made 2 different editions, 1 Disney and 1 marvel. They are the same game they just include different playable characters.

  No, I think this is only the toy box. The Marvel one is the full version. But the pieces are interchangeable.

   I ordered this. I do not have the other games. I read some reviews that this plays like its own game just different stuff featured from the other games. I am hoping to get an awesome deal on the others for Black Friday so I was not too worried if it didn’t.

   I just bought this exact toy pack at Wal-Mart for $5 in the clearance section! So be sure to check there too.

  It was in store at the clearance aisle. It was an end cap display that had these and skylanders games.
