My membership ended in May and I did not renew. Does anyone know if this work if my husband does this deal? He had a spouse card under my name.

    • boo

You should be good. My husband was primary on our last card that ended nov2. We just renewed with this type of deal last week with me as primary him as secondary with no issue

      • Hunterwoody

        Me too

  2. Jocelyn

I just purchased this and was able to use the SAVE20 that i got after i boughtbthe starbucks deal.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Darn, I am not able to apply that to this deal.

      • Dessarai

I too was able to apply this code, bringing my total to only $36!

    • Tina

Thanks so much! It worked for me!

    • debi

Was able to save $9 in the $45 deal…great for $36..thanks:-)

    • ~jenn~

I did this as well. The code was specifically tied to the Starbucks purchase.

  3. Trisha

Is it worth having the card? What do people buy their that is so great that is cheaper then just going to your normal store?

    • Jessica

Trish, I definetly think its worth it! I have a large family so buying in bulk is a must! For instance, at Walmart you can get a 50 pack of plastic cups for $4, at Sam’s Club I just purchased a 250 pack for $9! It’s also great if you have kids to buy snacks for lunches!

    • Ashley

I’m curious as well. I’m strongly considering purchasing, but I want to be sure it’s worth it.

    • Kristy

Getting pictures printed is VERY cheap! Less than $2 for an 8×10

    • Julie

If you have a BJs nearby, I like them better. BJs accepts multiple manufacturer coupons when you buy items that are bundled up and you can use BJs coupons on top of that. I find items cheaper there and the meat and produce are excellent!

I save at least 30 cents a gallon on gas in my area. Ground beef is 2.98 everyday and recently in my area the grocery stores have not been having sales like they used to for ground beef. We routinely get the turkey bacon, potato salad, romaine, spices, and a few other items.

      • Hunterwoody

My gas is the same price at SAMs vs Walmart or any other store in my town:(. I have a membership but I see less and less of a reason the more I follow Collin.

    • Shopper

Cheese (i.e. a small wedge of good cheese is over $5 at the grocery store, at a warehouse for about the same price you get much more product), paper products, some perishables, gas, some otc health and beauty products.
At Costco, electronics have a 2 year warranty included, and no return policy(electronics limited time return ploicy) meaning even if used they will take item back at any time.

    • Elizabeth

You can get any flat tire repaired for free, regardless if you bought it there or not. We had two flats one year, and were thankful for their speedy, free, and easy fix for them.

    • Carmen

Milk is only $2.39 gallon Aldi is $2.99, harris Teeter $3.79 in this area. We eat their rotisserie chickens 2-3 times a month. They are only $4.99. All meat prices beat the grocery stores (unless you catch a good sale). Eggs are cheaper. Some Sams have super cheap gas.

      • mindy

We get rotisserie chickens all the time to make other meals out of it (chicken avocado salad w/ cilantro, spring wrap, chicken soup, ect). These chickens are huge! We buy rice and gas too. Wish I had wait until now to use the discount code on groupon.

    • LindaK

I buy all my gas there – it is typically at least 20 cents per gallon cheaper than anywhere else around. We buy cheese, tortillas, lamb, printer toner and styrofoam supplies. Costco is the only place I’ll buy electronics. As mentioned above, returns are no problem. My son’s laptop went out and it was swapped no questions asked When mine died after some time, the Costco rep was on the phone with me and dealt with the Toshiba rep Fantastic service!

Wish there were Costco deals like this 🙁

  5. K

still waiting for the costco deal…

    • Jaime

Me too. I remember they had a similar deal just like this last year at this time??

  6. lori b

We buy movie tickets. 16.50 at cinema but only 8.50 at Sams

  7. 1luv

Bought the. $25 deal. Splitting with my pops…comes out to $12.50 🙂 thanks!

    • mindy

the $45 deal still come out the same since you get $20 back in gift card and plus free food vouchers

  8. tracy

Thanks Collin even though a huge Costco fan could not turn this great deal down.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re welcome!

  9. Tammy

Has anyone received the new mom membership they had back in sept? I was told oct 15th then oct 30th and now nothing…. 🙁

    • boo

I did at least 2 weeks ago you should call or email them

    • Sarah

I have not either and heard the same thing. However, I did call the other day and they said things were delayed because of the response and mailers are still being sent. HTH and we get ours soon!

  10. Just Me

Did anyone do the deal last week that included an upgrade membership? I am getting the run around on my upgrade. Had to call to get my gift card and I’m betting my free items weren’t loaded to my card.

    • Just Me

Last month. You had to buy online by October 16th

  11. Jaclyn

Any one have a groupon code?

  12. Tara

I bought this 2 weeks ago and the process was pretty easy and I got the gift card right at the service desk when they set up the membership. I have to go back for my free items since they take 72hrs to load. Does anyone know how long you have to redeem them? I can’t remember if the girl said 10 days or 14.

    • Just Me

Did you get the membership with the free upgrade after 3 days?

  13. Penny

Anyone know when this Groupon ends?

  14. Ketsy

I want to buy this as a Christmas present for a friend, so I won’t give it to her until then. I should be able to do that, right?

    • Just Me

You have until January to redeem but why not give it early so she can use for Black Friday or holiday meals?

  15. Christen

Costco is so much better! And I’m not just saying that because my husband is a manager there lol!

  16. Errin

When I click on the link for the $45 membership it takes me to the $25 membership and it says this deal is not yet available…I am confused

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Darn. Looks like it is over 🙁

  17. connie

said offer not good yet then it was expired

  18. brandon bovee

I got this deal almost two weeks ago. Went in the store and got the membership and received the 20.00 gift card but that was it. II have not received the free items and my wife contacted Groupon. Still nothing. I contacted sams and they said it should automatically load on our card. Still nothing. Very disappointed in this so called “deal”.

  19. Chantelle

Did anyone try the $10 gift card for renewing? I have been working on this for close to two weeks now (last link was regarding tailgating) – in club, on phone with customer service, etc. – and I am getting nowhere. Now I am being told that maybe it is a fraudulent link. No gift card and a lot of wasted time. Is it just me?
