They give you a voucher; I usually print it and put it in an envelope! It has raise’s logo and stuff but I usually tear that part out! If you are giving as a Christmas gift, print the voucher on a nice colored paper, cut it up nicely (make a nice designed cut) paste it inside a Christmas card! Did that for birthdays- they loved it! Comes with a bar code so, just gotta show the paper to the cashier!

I don’t see Whole Foods for $46 either . Alot of the app reviews say they received bad cards and had to receive a refund. Not sure it’s worth the trouble.
I think what happens is people use stolen cc to buy gift cards, then sell them through raise. Then when the fraud is discovered the gift card is void. But raise has 100% guarantee on all the cards they sell
The 100% guarantee is a lie. I paid $40 for a gift card that’s supposedly had $50. Got to place it had ZERO on it. Called company their customer service is a joke. 4-5 days to respond to complaint then they say they only will refund $14 and change… I emailed them that I paid $40 and they said I used a $5 promo code so how does that go from $40 to $14?? I filed a dispute with visa and they have me $40 back. I don’t think raise will last long imho.

I had the same happen to me at Gyft – a similar site. That was the first and ladt timr I would deal with them – you dont ask somebody for a copy of their ID! I wasn’t comfortable doing it, so, I understand your frustration over this.

I stopped using them because they can be shady sometimes. I bought a card and someone was using small amounts off of it before I used it. I called to check the card balance and was told the balance is untraceable. I used what was left and closed my account. There are tons of horror stories of people buying cards on there that happened to be stolen or theives bought gift cards with stolen credit cards ans sold the giftcards back to Raise for cash.

Didn’t get my $5 sign on bonus because I don’t have a cell phone. Getting a little tired of companies (kelloggs among others) ousting me on things because I don’t have a cell phone or use Facebook. I pay for internet access. I don’t see any reason to have to pay $50 plus a month for a cell phone that is useless to me except for the companies that are trying to force me to get one to save money that I won’t really save when you add in the cost.
