Even if it was a physical card, it could be transferred (but you’re right, it’s not). Any card’s balance can be transferred as long as it’s $5 or more.
I have been having a horrible time reloading my Starbucks card, it just won’t go through. I’ve deleted my cards, the entered them, re-entered the addresses etc. does this happen to anyone else?
My husband and I have both been unable to reload our cards for over a year. It’s a little more work but we just buy a gift card then add it and transfer the balance.
You can just load it in store. You have to do two transaction (the first to load your card, and the second to pay for your purchase with your rewards card). Easy peasy!

No it won’t work with PayPal. I made that mistake already and only got the regular $10 egift card I ordered.
Then I ordered a $12 one with my Visa, and it came as $17 egift card ($12 + free $5).
I was gonna use PayPal since my cards are visa but I wasn’t sure if they would count that so I just entered in my card manually just in case

You can load it to an actual physical card to give as a gift. I did that last time.
I’ve tried to do this deal a few different ways; through paypal, through my Starbucks account, as a guest… and it keeps going to an error. Paypal has sent me emails advising I authorized payments, yet, nothing works. It’s too bad, what a good deal it is.

I had it sent to my gmail account and it never arrived. I called Starbucks Customer Service and they sent me to Gift Card support. They had to resend it to my AOL account. They are checking to see if there is a problem with gmail. Thanks Collin 😉
There is a problem with Juno accounts also. They are not receiving the ecard.

Got it! I have never been so obsessed with Starbucks until this year. I have spent SO much. I’ve always wondered how people can spend so much on coffee. Now I know why. My favorite is the Espresso Frappuccino. I refuse to get anything else even in this wintery cold weather! LOL It’s on the Starbucks menu but for some reason some baristas look at me like I have 2 heads when I ask or they have to double check. So weird! One time they made me an espresso cappuccino. I don’t know why it makes me crazy when I don’t get my espresso frapuccino fix! Haha!

I sent $10 (really $15 with bonus) to my husband. Got my confirm email, he received, and I already transferred to his account/card. Got $5 bonus no problems. He planned on going this evening to get another pound of Christmas blend, and the extra $5 cuts the cost some. Spend $15 today get $8 bonus stars too! Last Merry Monday.

I got an email saying it was delivered to my other email, it’s been 20 minutes, still hasn’t come through. Is it just that slow or should I call? Also wondering if anyone has done more than one, to another email with a different Visa card?
Mine took 20-30 minutes before I received it. I received the receipt first and then the card about 2-3 minutes later.
I received the email receipt, but there is no barcode to scan for use. I purchased this for a gift, so confused how they will use the eGift Card. Insight?

I must have been TOTALLY off this morning. I always read the post thoroughly before ordering anything and somehow I missed that you had to pay with visa. I used Paypal and didn’t get the bonus which sucks because I didn’t have the money to spend and that wasn’t a good deal at all. I chose to spend the money for someone who had been nice and helping me through some tough times. Wow. I guess I needed some coffee first:(

It took about an hour for me to receive the confirmation e-mail. Than a few more minutes for the gift to be delivered. But it is all good. I got the $5 bonus, too.

why does it say i’m ineligible for the starbucks for life code. I can put in my info and then when I click on the link in the email they send it says I can’t play because I’m ineligible. I have never worked there.
For the game, I try the enter without purchase option, I get a form to fill that doesn’t require email address. only name, city, state, zipcode and phone number. I never receive codes!!!
It took about an hour, maybe longer to get the email, but I finally got it.
