I need some help!! I just purchased a Christmas gift for my DH off Amazon, Now the thing is he has the Amazon Fire phone, I am not sure how many updates he gets on it but just recently I bought one of the kids a the scramble twister and he said huh! Scramble twist I said what!? He said it shipped!! So I don’t want this gift to be spoiled and not sure what I can change so he don’t get notifications on it Thanks anyone who has answers for me 🙂
Does he get text updates? He probably will receive one when shipped, the day scheduled for delivery, and one when it is delivered! I would go into Amazon and change the settings. If he has the Amazon app he will also receive updates through that…
You can log into your Amazon account and change the email address and phone number to yours so you get the notifications. Unfortunately, it will still show in the order history if he looks it up. I know you can “archive” past orders, but i don’t know if you can do that before it ships or not.
That happens. All I can suggest is telling him you bought something on Amazon for him and ask him to not look at the messages from Amazon. It’s only a few more days.
Same thing happened to me, so i went in and changed the amazon acct password till my items came in. Lol. My hubby doesnt really download alot of apps or shop on amazon. Then i switched it back! Good luck
As others said you can change the account info, also if you go into the Amazon app, you can turn off notifications so he won’t even get updates on when items ship, deliver etc.
It seems like there is a button for “clear order history” ? I would live chat with an Amazon rep. They’ve always been really helpful to me!
