OfficeMax Clearance: 70% Off Backpacks & Lunch Packs

Even though it’s January, it appears to be a great time to stock up on school supplies! Head over to your local OfficeMax store where you’ll likely find BIG discounts on backpacks, lunch packs, school supplies and more! I spotted tons of Backpacks for under $10, a Disney Lunch Tote for $2.62, Mini Staplers for $0.55, Ice Packs for $0.53 and more!

And check out this email and picture from reader, Jill…

I stopped into OfficeMax this morning – select backpacks are 70% off – I paid $20 for the pink Jansport backpack. Other items were on ultra clearance – $0.02 pencil cases, $0.10 food erasers, $0.44 clipboards, and $0.48 scissors!

Does anyone know when the Office Depot / Office Max rewards are awarded? I bought some of the batteries that were free after awards (in Nov and Dec) and haven’t seen any rewards yet…

    • Mb9826

I called about the batteries and it should be coming within the next couple weeks. The deal was still going on through December and it takes a couple weeks afterwards for it to appear.

My sister is a retired social worker and I always stocked up on backpacks when i found good deals. I’d give them to her to keep so that when she had an emergency placement, the kids would have something nice to pack things in. She told me stories of her picking up kids for placement and them only having garbage bags to pack their things in. I used to travel alot for work so I’d scoop up all the hotel toiletries I could and put some in each bag. So if you have extra back packs think about donating them to your local Social Services Office.
