Disney has a series of 5 minute stories (we have Disney Junior and Disney Princess) which are great for bedtime especially on those rough nights.
My kids love those!
Sweet! Thanks for sharing Kay!
My daughter loves those but always wants me to finish the whole book! Even when I think she’s asleep after nearly half the book she will yawn and say something like “Jasmine’s next and then Ariel too”. 😭 I had to hide them and buy single golden books for about $2-3. Going to stock up on more and try to see if the code will work on the $80 text book I’ve been putting off buying.
I’m an elementary school librarian so I get especially happy to talk about my favorite books! All the books you have pictured are recent award winners and I’ve placed an order for them this week for my school library!
I will be ordering the new Diary of A Wimpy Kid book for my students at school…for my personal library: Echo (historical fiction), Anne of Green Gables box set, a few romance novels, and a book about the History of the Oscars by Robert Osborne.
I would recommend the book “Chomp, I Will Eat You” and “Beekle: the unimaginary friend” for children. Sorry to ramble I just love to talk about books! *rant over*
Thanks for such great suggestions Brianna!
Small correction *”I Will Chomp You” is the book title.
I second the book “I will chomp you!”
My 5 year old son LOVES it and always laughs out loud when we read it!
I LOVE the book “On the Night You Were Born” – the author has a whole series of books but that one is my favorite. The illustrations and words are so beautiful. I often give it as a baby shower gift. I still pull out our copy on occasion and read it to my now 7 year old. I always get a little weepy reading it and talking about the night he was born. He thinks I’m a little nutty!
