Yup! I’ve read here that some stores have manually changed their systems to only trigger it at 100%, but most still trigger at 98% of the total requirement.
I had a $6 off $30 and that coupon wouldn’t work since I was off but I used the Hershey coupon to get it for $0.25
$/$$ coupon offers will not work if you’re short. But spend deals calculate at 98% of the total needed.

What’s an EB?
The EB is the extra care buck, it’s like is cvs currency!!
They print on your receipt after making qualifying purchase/s as noted throughout the ad. Example – if you do the Colgate deal highlighted in red, it’s $2.99 with card, use the $2 printable, pay $0.99 (+ applicable sales tax), get $1 EB back on your receipt to use towards another purchase. Make sure to tear it off and keep it safe, it has a 30-day expiration.

how to get more than two $2 printable Colgate coupons?
You would have to print from another computer. You can only print two of each type of coupon from a computer.
When you use $4 off $20 coupon sent to your card does it take the $4 off after all other discounts and coupons? Or can you use it first and then use other coupons to get the total down further?
I have never tried to do it with the L2C because of the concern. I prefer to print it, that way I can hand it to the cashier first and then take it down further with the rest of my coupons, and never had a problem.
I don’t have any issues with sent coupons. When you send it, the screen will let the cashier know to apply a coupon. I do let the cashier know ahead that I have sent offers that I’d like to use. They have to apply it last, after your other manuf / bucks have been scanned, but as long as you have $20 pre coupon, it’ll be applied.
I always sent them to my card, and never had a problem, and we selfcheck out in my cvs! Apparently the system starts by $$/$$$, before other coupons!!

I bought a Physicians Formula item for $15.29. I used a $3 off $15 coupon and a 15% off beauty coupon. They both came off no problem, but the 15% came off at $1.46. I thought it would be $1.84 (15% of $15,29 – $3 Q) Just can’t make anything work out to $1.46. Honestly, I don’t really care about less than 40 cents, I’m just frustrated that I can’t figure it out!

Was the $15.29 regular price? Used any other store coupons or forced print ecbs (they won’t have MFR on them for tax purposes)?
$15.29 was regular price, used the $3/$15, the 15% and paid with 2 $3 ECB and 1 $4 ECB – none was a forced print. Hahahaha it’s a mystery! Thanks for the replies everyone. At least I know I’m not crazy. Well, at least in relation to this particular transaction 🙂

It is at my store. Any % off coupons only apply after the Eb are deducted. Of course your store may do things differently. You could ask to speak to a manager about it.

Lucky, my store the % coupons apply before I use EB. If the stores which the % coupons only apply after the EB are deducted, we do not save money because we are always use EB to pay .
For example: I purchase the toal $30.00, if I use 3 $10.00 EB to pay that make Zero balance, so the % off coupons does not help anything. For the 20% off coupons apply before, it will take off $6.00, then I just pay $24.00 EB. That is how I done at my store. Love to share. Thank you.

Hi Tina9222. The % off coupons just apply for the REGULAR PRICE items up to $99.00 total, not for the Sales items. If the item on sale with EB like colgate sale $2.99- $1.00 EB, so the % off not work. But if it said ” spend $20.00 on colgate products get $5.00 EB, or any deals said buy 2 get $5.00, buy 3 get $10.00…., then the % off coupons will definitely working. If you still have another % off coupons try it. This week CVS have a lots of good deals like Colgate Optic White, Enamel buy 2 get $4.00, Any Ban buy 2 get $3.00, Any Garnier buy 2 get $5.00, Any Physicians spend $10 get $7.00, Aquaphor buy 2 get $5.00, Neutrogena cosmectic buy 2 get $6.00, L’oreal skin care spend $30 get $10….ect,( That is all Regular Price ), combine with the manufacturer coupons you will pay less money. Are you referring to the ad coupon? I’ve had problems in the past with it, either taking off a whopping $0.01 or nothing at all. A way to get around that is to have your card scanned after a few items (if you can, some cashiers will wait until you give them your card before even beginning to scan anything) or if they scan your card first, ask for a price check on something and that will confuse the register LOL.
I had an issue with the tresseme coupon my cashier took the 50% shampoo off (2.99) instead of the $5.99. Does anyone know if it depends on the cashier or if there is a rule of how to use these buy one get one coupons? TIA
The coupon is for a Free Shampoo wyb Conditioner. If the cashier scanned the conditioner first, then shampoo, the shampoo rings up 1/2 price and that’s why you got $2.99 off. Some cashiers will automatically give the max value as stated on the coupon, others will go by what the register rings the 2nd item.

CVS does these wacky regional ads from time to time. Possible your area has the shorter ad that doesn’t include got2be. You could always do a price ck to be sure.
