My codes still show up my mobile app after I used them today. It makes me think that you can use them until the expiration date (3/13).

I did 3 different trips at 2 different kohl’s with no problem paying 20 using both codes. This morning I was told I can only use one 10dollar coupon?!. She even called the manager…I’ll probably just return and rebuy at the other one…strange.

That’s a good point! One of mine was a paper coupon and the rest were in the app. But she told me it wouldn’t work before she scanned it. But I thought at first that maybe she was looking at the wrong one and thinking I was trying to use the 1st one again (I’m not trying to fraud them!!) and I explained it was 10 off 30 general and 10 off 30 kids and I explained that again to the manager. And she said they DO stack together just not on all kids stuff. I already had the order loaded in the app because I wanted to make sure I was doing my math right and getting to $40 pre coupons so I knew it would work online
Yes, I used all the same coupons from my app but it doesn’t explain why it worked 3 times but not the last time? I’m with you, Jana, I was happy to shop in store to support the local stores. If stacking the coupons changed, it would have nice to have an explanation instead of the feeling I was getting my questions brushed off at checkout. Sigh..

I did not know party city has a kiosk for free shipping?!! Anyways the kiosk is hit or miss for me when I try to use it, so I just place an order on the customer service phone and they waive shipping for me, make sure to confirm that though!

Yes today I used the $10 off $30, $10 off kids, and 15% off. I had $100 worth of clothes and the cashier let me separate my orders so that I could use the coupons twice!! Love Kohl’s!!

I love Khols! I am a little confused about the coupons though! With two 10 off 30, (one kids clothes and one general) I knew from past experience that you could stack them together on $40 worth of merchandise as long as at least $30 was kids. Did this in stores yesterday. Got a $4 pair of pj’s for me and rest was kids clothes. Pre-coupon total was $40 and after the two 10 offs and luv2save it was $18. Went back in store today and got $40 of kids clothes and was told that the 10 off general and the 10 off kids wouldn’t stack because it was all kids stuff. Would need $10 of regular merchandise before it would work. I even spoke to a manager and they said the system wouldn’t allow it. I explained that it allowed it online. So I sat there in the store and did the order online with free shipping! I am not upset about the policy, but with so many Khols stores closing I like to support my local store when i can instead of going online! (I never mentioned being about to do it in the store the day before, I didn’t want to get anyone in trouble, but I’m thinking maybe because I had SOME general merchandise it allowed the coupons to work that time). Anyone else experience this in store?

Well, I guess your experience confirms that it’s not “the system” that won’t allow it, but the store’s policy. You did your previous transactions with all kids stuff in store, right? The manager I spoke with made it seem like they would love to honor it but their computers wouldn’t take it…when I told her about doing it online she said the online system can “manipulate” it so it goes through.
Interesting. Yes I did on order Thursday, and 2 on Friday all in store (all kids clothes) with no problem. Suddenly today they won’t accept both coupons. The cashier wouldn’t even look at my phone to scan the second $10 coupon, and when she called a manager, she just said it’s one coupon or the other. I also overheard another cashier saying “you can only use one coupon – 15% or the $10”. I don’t know what was going on, but I know it wasn’t correct but couldn’t stay and deal with it…had to get to work.
Hmm! I sure hope they are not changing things up…Khols pricing model kinda forces the use of coupons! It just doesn’t make sense. I have worked customer service in the past (although not retail) and the only reason I would ever have to be a stickler about a policy is if either I knew the computer wouldn’t take it(in which case I had no choice) or management made it clear that it was a no-no and we would get in trouble (in which case it’s not worth risking my job to make a customer happy). Other than those two reasons, why would they care? For some reason it seems many Khols employees feel this is the policy…but where is it coming from? I want to respect any policy they have and not push them to do something they can’t, but it’s hard when they are not consistent
Sounds like the employees were just being difficult! If they tried to scan it, I’m sure the coupons would have gone through just fine.

I couldn’t get it to work on regular juniors clothes. Also went to the kiosk in store to get free shipping and it was such an annoying process – then come to find out at the end of the whole process (after doing everything twice since the system kicked me out during my first checkout) that it will only take two promo codes?? It was such a waste of time. Why would they have their kiosk only take two promo codes when online you can stack as many as you want? I ended up leaving the store and placing an online order padding it to $75 to get the free shipping then I will have to return some stuff.
I was able to do it yesterday in store. I bought some t shirts and leggings. And the juniors coupon worked. I got 40 dollars and used both dresslove and the 10 off 30.
cw you are lucky! I was getting junior leggings also and the jr coupon would not work for me at all. I tried it each time I was checking out and it wouldn’t go through. I was buying kids clothes too so I needed to use the kids $10 off and the 15% off plus the general $10/$30 so I would have needed to use at least 3 codes, and the kiosk said I was only allowed two 😩 when I did the online order I did all the codes plus the men’s one since I padded the order to hit $75. I still feel like I wasted a lot of money, spending $80 when I only intended to spend $20-$30. At least I can always take stuff back right 😉

The $10 off $30 (online code springtime) states that it cannot be combined with any other dollar off coupons if you read the ‘fine print’. The $10 off $30 for kids clothes says it can be used with other offers and doesn’t say anything specifically about combining with other dollar off coupons, I think if they let you use the codes together you are lucky because based on the fine print for the basic $10 off $30 you shouldn’t have been able to combine it with another dollar off promotion but you shouldn’t have had any trouble combining it with a percent off coupon. I used to work in retail and it’s always best to read the back of the coupon before shopping so you know exactly what it can be combined with and what items may not qualify for the discount, I hope this helps!
Yikes, you are right. The kids $10 allows other coupons but Springtime does not allow another $10. It scans and goes through so I didn’t think twice. The second coupon goes right though and that’s why the cashier wouldn’t consider looking at my phone – she knew the system would allow it. I wish I had an explanation at checkout Saturday but at least it finally makes sense! Thanks Amanda!:)
