Walmart Clearance Finds: Huge Discounts on LEGO, Thomas the Train, & Doc McStuffins

I went to Walmart today to check out the LEGO Friends deal! They were showing in stock at one of my local stores (in Fuquay Varina, NC). I couldn’t find them anywhere. I had a store worker and a manager help me search for them. Pretty much the best customer service I have ever had at Walmart! We couldn’t find any, so I thanked them and went on my way. I decided to go down two more isles and check the top shelf. I found not only the one you posted about, but THREE others!
The LEGO Friends Heartlake News Van (DCPI # 32703665) was marked down to $5 (reg. $24.97), the LEGO Friends Cruise Ship (DCPI# 25634553) was $17 (reg. $61) and the LEGO Friends Sunshine Ranch (DCPI# 34193537) was $17. I bought a few more for my gift stock! There was still some left… I was so excited!! Thank you so much for the post!!

Hi Collin! I found some unmarked clearance at my Walmart last night! Got a Thomas the Train Shipwreck Trails Set (DCPI# 44786010) for just $15 (regularly $60) and a Doc McStuffins Magic Talking Coc & Clinic (DCPI# 45717672) for $9 (regularly $30). The Doc McStuffins toy wasn’t marked at all. Thomas the Train was marked at $45, but it scanned $15. Awesome!
Some Legos were marked 50% off at my local Target as well.

My store showed out of stock for both as well but there was one Thomas the train and two doc mcstuffins in the toy clearance.

Go to the fitting room and make them do a price check. They almost always have a telzon and can check the price. Or jewelry is a good place to look 🙂
I found the Lego Jungle Rescue Base for $15, the Heartlake Van for $5, Mia’s Roadster for $4 and Cinderella’s Dream Carriage for $7…all on risers above the regular toys. Then hubby found a Jurassic World remote control Indominus Rex (was 34.96) for $9. Also found the Spinnyos Giant Coaster that was posted the other day for $13 and a My First Thomas Rail Rollers Spiral Station for $7! Everything was up on the very top shelf that says to ask for assistance…my store’s clearance aisle has been converted to pool supplies and there was only a small clearance section labeled but it had small items. Almost nothing was marked that I bought either!
BTW the in dominoes Rex was originally $100 but the store must have shown the previously marked price. Great deal!!

I found the Indominous Rex for $9 as well. I thought for sure it had to be wrong. But I bought the last 3 anyway!
Over the past few weeks I’ve been picking up clearance Mattel Disney Princess dolls & toys since Hasbro has taken over making them. Last week I got Ariel, Sleeping Beauty & Cinderella bath dolls for $3 each.

Oh I LOVE a good deal!!! I used to stock up my gift closet with things like this but closing it down since I’m moving. My friends thought I was crazy when I told them I had an actual gift closet.
Man, my daughter would LOVE that ranch. It looks like Applejack’s barn. I’ve never seen it before. Not in stock in VA, though. 🙁

Why Walmart in CA say the DCPI number is not walmart number? They say those numbers are probably third party numbers?
Because the DPCI is a Target number
I see at the top they say DPCI but that is not what they are called at Walmart so that may be the confusion. At Walmart they are just called product id numbers I think.
So I was adding items to my cart in a store that said they had it. Once in the cart it did not reflect the low price. I called Walmart.com and she said to go in store and have them price match. I found Legos on the shelf that online indicated the store was out of, also most of the Lego sets are in the regular aisle and not clearance. I just got about $400 Legos for $100.
Thank you SO much! I went to a local Walmart and got 6 lego friends sets, 2 disney princess and one elves set for $58.50 plus tax. Amazing! The one friends set alone was normally $69.99!

I looked at Walmart yesterday and after searching and searching could not find anything. After reading others’ comments about looking at the top shelves, I went back and scored big on Lego sets. They were in the toy section, but not by the other Legos; just stacked up high with the boxes laying on their sides, so you couldn’t tell which sets they were. They were not marked as clearance. Sunshine ranch set for $17, Jungle Rescue base for $15, Stephanie’s Beach House for $9, Heartlake News Van for $5, Lego Juniors Beach Trip set for $2.50, Mia’s Roadster for $5, and Elves Azari & the Magical Bakery for $7. Also found the Indominus Rex for $9. Thanks so much for letting us know about these great deals, Collin! My gift closet is now full!
Just got the Lego Friends Heartlake Shoping Mall for $54 at my Walmart. Amazon has it on sale for $90 and Target for $85.
Happened to be driving past the WalMart in Clayton NC and dropped in to see what might be there since Sarah in nearby Fuquay-Varina had such success. I searched the top shelves in the toy department and found some Duplo marked down to $11 that scanned at $7. Then I found the actual clearance toy aisle and found 2 large Lego Friends sets for $15 and a LEGO Rapunzel set for $9. Those items and everything I checked also scanned lower than marked. I do not have young children so I bought only the Rapunzel set which I will keep for donation at Christmas time. I have a budget of $50 that I use throughout the year for that and try to get toys across gender and age groups. Thanks to all for the tips!

Just want to say thanks for the heads up! I was able to find three of the Lego sets mentioned in this post. Also picked up some other toys on 75%+ discount. My kiddos will be happy when Christmas rolls around!

when i checked the lego sets the other day, they were still only ringing up half off…but when i just checked them again tonight, they rang up for $15 Jungle Base and $5 news van. So glad i was able to get them. i’ll have to go back and scan some of the other sets mentioned above.
