If you’re NOT an Android user, it will give you a warning that it may not be compatible with your device, but continue regardless (as you’re not required to actually download the app to get your $5 credit). My Android phone is having “parsing” problem downloading the Amazon underground app, so would not allow me to proceed with purchase of the games. So I swith to desktop view/mode and even though I still can not download the Amazon underground app, it allows me to make the game purchase. I will look forward to play the game after I upgrade to a better Android phone.
Now where do I find the credit? I have a lot of credit from choosing slow shipping as well, no idea where to view any of these…

Could not have been easier! On the mobile app I scrolled down to “Amazon full site”, then added Ticket to Ride to my cart and it gave me the option to deliver it to my son’s kindle or to the cloud, so I chose the kindle. Hit buy, and within 30 seconds I had the email confirming my $5 credit. Thanks Collin!

I had free credits so my app was free, but after I checked my digital promotional credits I noticed I had more than before. They added $2 for videos, $2 for mp3 and now I have $5 to use on apps. Weird. Thanks for posting!!

Thanks Lindsey, I still can’t find it, I use android mini, do you think this is the reason? Also, when I try to do it on the computer it keeps taking me to download the underground app which I have on the android. Very confusing. lol

I was able to purchase Ticket to ride for $1.08. I guess I had a $2.00 credit I wasnt sure about. I did get the $5.00 email but when I go to my credits. It shows I have a $5 credit for video, mp3, and video games. I was thinking the $5 credit we get is for anything I want to purchase on Amazon? Did I miss read it?
Well never mind I guess 🙂 I went and picked out some of the new paper mate gel pens and added them to my cart. It automatically took the $5.00 off. I got a 8 pack for $5.46 shipped. Pretty good because I saw them in the store tonight for $15 I think. Thank you 🙂
Got it! Had a difficult time purchasing one of the eligible apps too. I read others’ tips/pointers, so I made sure to download/add the “Amazon Underground” feature to my Prime account & clicked on “Amazon Full Site” at the bottom of the page (if using the mobile site). If that doesn’t work then be sure to switch to “Desktop Mode” if using your mobile phone. You should see a button to “Purchase App” & when u click on it your associated payment form will automatically be charged (Note: This is different from regular Amazon purchases…there’s no opportunity to review your order, you’ll just be quickly charged). I bought Pac Man & my $5 promotional credit email was then sent almost immediately! Good luck!

This did not work for me. I bought a game last night when I saw the post and I never got a credit. I checked my email and also tried adding something to my cart, no credit.
I can’t complain. I had Amazon coins to use, so I did. Apparently there was another promotion or something going on, because I got a 299 Amazon coins discount, getting the app for free, plus the $5 credit. 🙂

I got the email but every time I put something in my cart there is no $5 credit.
It will show when you choose only “select” apps. Also if you are on a mobile device, maybe try a desktop as it seems to work better that way. Hope that helps!
