Whats everybodys favorite? Im thinking espresso kitchen because it won toy of the year I believe. Any feedback on these?

    • mom

I bought the Espresso kitchen almost 3 years ago for my son. Now I have a daughter too. They both play with it. I picked it because it has tons of storage. Kind of a pain to assemble and it’s heavy if u ever need to move it. We love it. Gender neutral too which I prefer.

We have the blue retro kitchen. My kids love it! I like that the stove and fridge aren’t connected because it makes it easier to find places for it to fit

    • Jennine

You could pick out some fun cheap scrapbook paper and Modge podge it to the back splash and dishwasher door. Boom! New colorful kitchen for less than $10 πŸ˜‰

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Oh cool! Thanks for sharing Alex! Good to know!

Love the kitchen center, but it took 2 adult males 3 hours to put it together.

    • JC

Took us three hours too and my husband and I are both extremely handy. Didn’t help that ours came very very chipped so we already weren’t too happy with it. I do like the storage and shape of it though.

I’m obsessing over the super colorful one. I already have the blue one BUT in pink for my 3 year old. But the colorful one is so fun!

    • Jennine

Ah man finger slip, my above post was suppose to go to you πŸ˜‰ Modge podge and scrap paper!

We have the espresso kitchen (minus the fridge- older version I guess, it’s from a garage sale). It’s well loved in our house by all. Good storage, easy to clean, sturdy. Highly recommended.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Awesome! Thanks for the feedback! πŸ™‚

The uptown espresso is the cutest. I bought it for $94 last year, I think this is a great price! Took a long time to put together but worth it. My 3 year old was soo happy on Christmas morning. Now my 1 and half year old is loving it also, they make me all kinds of meals all day πŸ˜‰ by the way I bought a few baskets that fit nicely inside the oven and that is where they atore some of there food when we clean up, works great to keep play food messes localized lol

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

That’s great to hear. Thanks much for the helpful review! πŸ™‚

Thank you, just sold my twins small Minnie Mouse kitchen because they wanted a bigger one =) Got them the colorful kitchen for their birthday in August =)

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re welcome! πŸ™‚

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

How cute! Thanks for the suggestion Emily!

My.only complaint is that the phone dpsent make any sounds/there is nothing that makes noises, sounds, images etc. So one laat question, does anyone think plastic kitchens that use batteries are more fun than the wood?

  10. Jessica

Is there a coupon for instore?

  11. dilek

can you combine this code and baby registry completion code together?

  12. Justin

    Scored mine! Thanks!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re welcome Justin!

  13. Olivia

We have the colorful one a shave had it for 2 years. My 3 kids play with it daily and it’s still great. We got the retro set for our niece and it’s great for little kids but it’s much shorter and littler than the colorful one. It may not be as fun to play with such a small kitchen the taller they get.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Happy to hear how well it has held up! Thanks for the feedback!

  14. Judy

OT, does anyone have an idea of what is a good price point for Magformers or Magnatiles? Would like to get some, but Target’s prices are substantially higher than other places, so this coupon doesn’t really make it worth it…. just now getting into the building toys, and feeling overwhelmed by the prices of these things

    • Susan

I think most people shoot for $1 per tile

      • Judy

thanks Susan, that was about what I was guessing πŸ™‚
There are a couple sets on Amazon for about $0.85 / tile but I wasn’t sure if that was really that good a deal or not

  15. candace

I’m excited I bought the Espresso one for my son for Christmas. They had this deal maybe last October and I didn’t jump on it when I should have. It’s usually $125. Used my red card, an $11 gc, and ebates. It’ll be about $69.

  16. Sarah

I scored the retro kitchen in mint condition at a garage sale on Saturday for $40! I love all the storage and that the piece are separate.

  17. candace

You could also get the red vintage kitchen for $80.99 and add a $20 toy. It would be $75 and tax would make it about $80 for both depending on location. Redcard would boost the deal.

  18. Karen

Bought the Our Generation Retro Diner for $85. It was on sale for $108 less $25 and if you have target redcard its 5% off and free shipping… Thank you so much Hip2Save
