Id love if someone used my code! KWALLACE6

Collin makes her living spending COUNTLESS hours for us to save a ridiculous amount of money. She nicely told people not to post their codes as it takes money away from her from her pocket and her families livelihood. It is very rude of you to post your code! If you want to post your code build your own site…not here as it is COLLIN’s SITE! 🙂

Pointing out that you think someone is rude is, in fact, rude in itself

        • Christie

No…I am just trying to keep shoes on Collin’s little girls feet and Board shorts on her sons! 🙂

          • S

            Um ok

        • Sara

I don’t think Christie was being rude. She was stating the obvious in a nice, friendly way. No need to be rude, S, by calling her rude.

Its ok to do it on some post but not others? I have seen plenty of people leave their links. Maybe just keep your rude comments to yourself. Nobody wants to read them.

Am I missing something? I didn’t see where she asked people to not post their referrals? Is it on another post that we’re supposed to know about? If so, I must’ve missed it 🙁 I wouldn’t want to go against what she’s requested for her website but I wonder if many others genuinely don’t know about it like me. I only started using this site recently so I don’t know if it’s something that’s been established in the past?

Heads up my husband has had problems with restaurant gift cards he purchased here. The $100 gc had 0 balance when tried to use! Yes! He did confirm the balance when he received the card but after a few weeks they cancelled the gc. Apparently theres fraud being done! people buying GC with stolen credit cards and then selling them on raise!

    • Sasha

Did your husband receive a refund? I was told 100% refund on faulty cards within 100 days of purchase.

    • K

I had the same problem and customer service tried refunding me for less than what I paid $83 for $100 card) to which they would not provide an explanation! I ended up disputing with visa. Their customer service is a joke and I believe they knowingly have lots of problems with zero balance cards and try to take advantage of the buyer.

Oh bummer! So sorry to hear that! Thanks so much for sharing your experience!

        Agree!

        • Christie

Thank you Lola! I am perplexed at all the people that add their referral codes when Collin nicely asks people not to….unbelieveable!

I had a few problems with the GC too. The discount on Raise.com is as good as it used to be.

I don’t like how the e-gift cards dont have a bar code. Every time I go to Walmart with one of these e-gift cards, it’s like a big deal. They have to call a manager to come over & everything. It can be so frustrating.

hti’d love it if anyone looking to sign up for the site would use my referal code.Thanks.

I’ve bought at least 5 TJ Maxx physical gifts cards with over $100 value and haven’t had any problems. I did see another Hip2Saver suggest that as soon as the card comes in the mail you transfer the balance to another card, so as to prevent the funds being stolen/drained. That said, I have noticed that I used to be able to get cards with at least a 17% savings easily…and now it’s pretty difficult to find that high of a savings. :-/

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks so much for the feedback Arianne!

I tried to Purchase a Home Depot card ($200 @ 5% off)…I put it in my cart, then went to check out, it wasn’t available anymore. How annoying.

  9. Jesse

This place gives out empty gift cards. Happened to us once and they forever lost our business. Beware!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Darn! Sorry to hear about that! Thanks for sharing your experience Jesse!

I have never had an issue with buying Raise gift cards. My husband and I bought our appliances for our new home with gift cards from Raise. We have saved over $1600 buying and using gift cards from here. We do make sure to use them quickly in case of issues.
