As an example, the price point for a 24-count box of Crayola Crayons is 25¢. In other words, I would stock up on Crayola Crayons whenever I find them priced at 25¢ or less. Since Back to School sales are already starting up again in full swing, you should have an opportunity to snag these crayons at this price or less if you just wait patiently over the next few weeks.

Holy cow! Bazaar you just posted this cuz it truly is MADNESS! I just looked online at the items from office max and most of it is SOLD OUT already at my store:( Guess I should have shopped on Sunday when the ad came out. Also, it’s so stressfull knowing which store has it cheapest now versus the upcoming weeks. I’m finding that a lot of the school items that I want are out ot stock at my local Office Depot and Staples. I asked and they said there are no rainchecks. I was able to snag a few items but would love to really stock up for my kiddos. Thanks Collin and team for posting all these amazing back to school deals.

Haha! I JUST got back from Dollar Tree and bought some things…I didnt intend to spend on BTS today, but their stuff is cute! (AND HARD TO RESIST FOR $1. Some may not be the very best deals or highest quality (I dont recommend the glue or off brand crayons) but The designs and colors on composition notebooks and pencil holders and binders, etc got me when I walked in. Also I was so stoked to find National geographic kids learning books on various subjects (like bugs or famous people) and other historical paperback kid books for only a dollar… Scooped those up as well. Their education isle has lots of lower elementary workbooks and incentives… Great for my homeschool!

I LOVE the polk-a-dot pencil case that you found at Office Depot!! I saw those in the ad, but our store only had the plain ones, super cute!! The flower $1 scissors kind of made up for it, but still those are just so cute. This is one of my favorite times of the year, all the deals, so much to donate, just a TON of fun!!

I price matched the crayons at Target today. Staples wouldn’t let me price match the highlighters.

I Office Depot was mostly sold out of everything no staples and target is over 60 miles away. Happy for everyone that’s getting the deals. Anyone know when Walgreens with start on there sales good?
As a Mom of 5 we need tons of supply not just at the start of school but through the schol year as well. I usually always went through no tax weekend and spent about $500 in supplies in backpacks and lunch boxes and then the supplies. This year following Hip2Save I have saved a ton. I sent in my daughters Backpacks to jansport warranty( which I had no clue youncan do that). Then was able to score nice deals on new ones for the little ones and better brands then the normal ones I useto buy. I only have spent about $15 in school supplies and its Awesome I have spent so far $33 and Im almost done l. Thanks Collin and the Hip2Save Team could have not done it without you.😊😊

Could anyone give me a good stock up price on the heavy duty 2-3″ binders? (Any possible deals in the next month or two.) I have a project that will need 16-20 of them :/ At least it came up at back to school time!

Since I pretty much follow your blog exclusively, I think you all posted on the Eggo/Crayola Promotion. Buy any 3 Eggo products in a single transaction and get a $5 Crayola gift card. I used two of these gift cards tonight on colored pencils at Walmart and got (5) 12-count boxes and (2) 24-count boxes for a total of $2.00!

What would you say is best price to buy children’s scissors at? My son’s teacher requested Friskar brand. Do those ever go on an amazing deal and do they really cut better than Westcott brand? Also, has anyone had any luck finding great deals on dry erase markers yet? Fine tip and regular please. Thank you for your help:)
I’m hoping Walgreens has the Fiskars scissors on sale for $.99 again this year. That’s my stock up price. Target has then for $1.47 and with the recent 25% of Cartwheel I was able to get some for $1.10. I don’t know if they cut any better. But I figure the teachers have more experience than I do. So I try to follow their wishes.
