Holy crap! I feel like I should buy this, but I don’t know if I’ll ever have the need (nor the time, nor the ink) to print 1000 photos.

By the way, my ebates add-on says there’s a 2.5% cashback on canon.com

😂 👆my thoughts exactly, but I did buy it just now!
I decided these would come in handy when my little girls want to write cards/color pictures for people, and other little crafty times like that. 🙂

      • Lila

It’s how they get you. I ended up buying the whole set of inks for my printer (which I would have bought on Amazon otherwise) and that came with a ton more of photo paper on various sizes (“Receive 10 FREE Gifts when you spend $50 or more on select Ink and Combo Value Packs” – the gifts are more photo paper) and I ended up spending about $95 for 5 ink cartridges and 1800 sheets of photo paper of various sizes, lol. Hopefully I will never have to buy photo paper again in my lifetime 😛

What photo printer do you all recommend? Thanks.

      • Lori

Great idea Jacy! Was wondering what to do with so many.

I have never Purchased photo paper before. This may be a silly question – can you use this paper with any printer or do you need to have a canon printer?

    • Lila

You can use them with any printer, as long as it’s a printer that prints on photo paper (not all of them do!). If you use them with a Canon printer, it’ll already have a “CANON Photo Paper Plus Glossy II” preset, which means the printer has the “whiteness” of the paper memorized and will adjust the colors accordingly. On any other printer, you’d just use a generic “glossy” or “ultra glossy” paper setting.

        Thank you Lila!

Usually you have to use them with a Inkjet printer not a Laser printer is my experience with them. I love how Lasers print but they do not like photo paper. and after time Inkjet photo’s printed fade 🙁

      • Angela

        Thank you heather!

Perfect! I bought it for our daycare and preschool. They print their own pictures for the kids and this will work great for them. Thanks!
