This stuff is very poor quality.
I agree! I ordered one last time thinking it is hard anodized but it is not. It is very thin and cheap looking. I bought a hard anodized one (another brand) from Macy’s and it last me years.
Oh bummer! 🙁 Sorry to hear that Mary! Thanks for the honest review!
Has anyone used tools of the trade? Looking for good quality steamer without nonstick. Thanks.
I have been using the stainless steel Belgique six days a week for three years and LOVE it. It is very high quality and still looks just as beautiful as the day I bought it.
I do have steamer….i suggest not to buy if are looking one with good quality…..it is very think…many time i think it will break or crake it gets too hot.
Thank you! Looking for long term with heavy use. Definitely want one that I don’t have to worry about breaking.
I have the 8″ Circulon skillet and love it. I use it every morning for eggs and it still looks brand new after 2 years. It has great reviews and you can’t go wrong for $13.99 for 3 sizes. (I just don’t need it, because mine is in great shape). Would make a great gift!
Awesome to hear that Deb! Thanks for sharing!
Looking to buy a set of cookware, not sure what the buy, love to hear feedback, would like something reasonably priced good quality long-lasting.
long lasting? definitely go stainless steel. there’s a learning curve for cooking things that are known to stick but its well worth taking the time. I now know how to successfully make eggs in a stainless steel pan…I didn’t know it was possible to have them not stick before doing some research. (let pan heat up first on med/low heat. add butter/oil/grease. let that heat up. only then do you add the eggs. I was amazed.) Cast iron is worht checking into also as it will last forever and a healthy option though some consider a them to be a pain. if you don’t want those hassles, we really love our ceramic coated frying pan…much healthier for you and far more durable than any tephlon or anodized coating.
I believe I’ve heard “multi-clad” stainless is the best you can buy.
good luck!
ps: my comments come from researching after bad experiences with Calphalon, Pampered Chef, & Rachel Ray nonstick cookware…they’re ok for a while but don’t last.
U can’t go wrong with Belgique staibless steel 3 qt soup pot….Collin, you may want to update on the availability of stainless steel pot…😜
Hmm, I am still finding it available! 🙂
The Circulon stuff is great–I had mine from my wedding for 6 years before I needed to replace it and that was only because I scratched it using the wrong sponge. It cleans super easily, too! Just make sure you follow the directions on not using the heat too high or it might warp. I’ve never had an issue with it on my gas stove.
The belgique brand is good quality. I had mine for 15 yrs. as a wedding present. i have the set.
Oh awesome! Thanks for the feedback Joyce! Good to know how well they hold up!
When I print the rebate form for the bella 12 x 12 electric skillet I bought when the deal was posted, the dates of purchase need to be between 9/28/16 to 10/2/16. If the rebate won’t work, how great of deal is it? Thanks for any advise. I could return, have not cut upc yet.
