As you can see from the pictures, the NES Classic Edition has the original look and feel of the old school system but in a much smaller size as it fits in the palm of your hand. It comes pre-loaded with 30 games including Super Mario Bros, Donkey Kong, The Legend of Zelda, Pac-Man and comes with one standard HDMI cable and one controller.

Word on the street is that you will want to grab a longer HDMI cable as the controller wires are super short compared to the original version. This My Arcade 10ft Extender Cable is available for pre-order with a November 30th release for only $9.99 or you can grab this Insignia 6ft Extender Cable available now from BestBuy.com for only $9.99 shipped or free in-store pickup.

This new Nintendo Entertainment System sold out within minutes on Target.com, BestBuy.com and GameStop.com early this morning when it was released so you’ll want to be fast! Purchases are limited to one per customer and 1-Click Ordering will be disabled for this item.

Does anyone want to hear a funny story?
While everyone struggled to get one of these on Amazon at 5pm, our friend DC here somehow managed to get two! Please tell us which superpowers you have that we don’t 😜

Just some light humor, don’t take it personal πŸ˜€

Never know, may have. Another person on here is supper excited that she got one for each of her grandkids..

      • H

I wonder if these people got the console or the remote, cause this link takes you to the remote.

I dont get it?? Why is this so great?? U cant add games, has very low quality & is very over priced?? Seems like a hyped up joke to me. I’ll stick w%my PS4 & Xbox. I hate Nintendo (ok except Mario still love that).

theres this little thing called nostalgia, that, and some people would rather spend money on other things that individual games priced at more than this package in total. Im not a gamer at all but i always loved playing the basic mario and donkey kong games, for a little while, so to me its worth it, they’re not games i would spend hours upon hours trying to beat or strategize about, they’re also nice and simple games open to a lot more ages… like i said im not really a gamer so i wouldnt know the first thing about ps4

      • Rebecca

Yes, nostalgia & also it’s not a bad price for what it is, lots of classic games. No, they’re not huge productions like games these days, but a game today will run you the same as this entire unit(with controller, too). For what it’s worth, we have xbox 360 & xbox one, Wii u, and even and old super Nintendo. They’re all fun in their own ways.

Id rather go find the original system at a local mom and pop game store and buy the actual game cartridges you had to blow in to make them work. **Ahhhhh memories*** lol

    • Katie

That’s what we have. Works fine.

    • Princess

Lol, yes I remember taking it out and blowing in it and then putting it back in. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Why are these game systems so hard to get? I went to target today to try and get one and was told they were sold out in 15 minutes. Why so Quick you may ask….. because the store only got 4 game systems delivered. Why is that?

  5. Lydia Gutierrez

All these people buying the game out and selling for more is not right, nintendo should do something about that we all want one too and not for 1000 dollars scoundrels that all they are. They ought to have a limit.

I don’t understand why people are mad? Everyone knew this would be a hot item, I got at Best Buy at 6:30am, waited in line, I was #4. My wife went to Target after taking our son to school, who was 6 in line and a lady came out and was nice enough to tell them they didn’t get a shipment, but would today, Saturday and only have 6. Best Buy came out at 8:55 and gave us tickets for 10am opening, people got there at 930 and were mad and cussing and hateful to workers who were outside telling people other people were here at 530 sitting, you can’t show up 30 mins before and expect something.

Gamestop had 45 in line and had 13.

Walmart had 120 in line and only had six.

No one knows if they are getting anymore.

No one had any extra controllers for the amount of consoles.

If anyone has any old Nintendo cartridges then don’t use or want to get rid of I will gladly take them. My kids love playing my old Nintendo. Proudmommaof6 @ hotmail .com

I was interested in getting one until I read more about it. One major flaw that kept coming up is that the remote is wired to the box and it is SUPER SHORT! My tv is mounted to the wall and I can’t picture how this would possibly work with our setup. Anyone lucky enough to get one have ideas how to deal with this problem?

  9. Mack

You can go to a pawn shop and get Nintendo cartridges but you won’t find Mike Tyson’s Punch Out on here that’s hard to find I been looking but I bought a game that has NES, SUPER NES, and SEGA all in one for 49$ at a flea market where I live but you must have the cartridges to play thoπŸ‘Œbut they also sale a cartridge with a chip in it for each system that you can put up to 700 games on each system cartridge and never have to buy cartridges lol look it upπŸ’―
