Are these the exploding ones? My son needs one but not sure if these were the ones having all those problems?

LOL no. thats the Note7 which are no longer in production or being sold.

A Samsung Galaxy S7 has exploded in the hands of a man in Winnipeg, causing second- and third-degree burns. Following the whole Galaxy Note 7 fiasco

    This is a great deal!

Read the fine print, not all phones are eligible for trade in and trade in value can vary.

    • Jessica

You can go to the Best Buy Website and enter your phone type, it will ask condition of the phone and it will tell you if your phone is eligible for trade in with this deal. I have a DROID Turbo in fair condition and it says mine is eligible. Its a good deal if you do your research. Thank you Jenny for pointing this out, I would have been upset if I got there and my phone was not eligible.

Does anyone use Sprint? I was on Best Buy’s site late night and noticed it said they no longer do 2 year contract upgrades. Is that true? I should be up for one next month but it’s currently saying not eligible instead of giving the date, like it has in the past. Just curious if anyone knows. TiA

I believe what Sprint is doing is moving to a lease option. Apple and Samsung are predominantly the two options when selecting a phone. So they’re moving from your traditional 2 year contract to a lease option that allows you to upgrade when the next Samsung/iPhone is released. What do you have now? I would imagine that your upgrade depends on the phone you have and if you’ve had your current iPhone/Samsung long enough before the next upgrade. Hope this helps!

We have 4 lines. Two Samsung Galaxy S5 that we got on 2 year contract in December 2014. Those are both saying not available for upgrade. Just a lease option. Another s5 that was available for upgrade and shows you can do a 2 year upgrade now. An iPhone that shows she can upgrade next summer. It’s all very confusing for me. Support hasn’t been much help unfortunately. I’m not sure why 2 of them wouldn’t be able and 2 would

The 2 year sprint contract upgrade was supposed to disappear in January. It did in the stores, but was still available online on bestbuy until September. I am so upset I did not upgrade in July when the phone was $49 with a free wireless charger. I am upgrading 3 phones and was waiting for the bestbuy $1.00 black Friday upgrade deals. If you login to your sprint.com account they have the 2 year contract option. The S7 comes out to $200 after mail-in-rebate for me. Will keep looking for a better deal. Don’t feel like spending $600 to upgrade our 3 phones.

      • Amy

I see the option online as well. I’m hoping maybe it will work for me in December like it was supposed to. It currently just show I’m up for a lease and nothing else.

Does anyone know of any deals on a Samsung Galaxy 7 without a contract plan? I LOVE my S5, but it doesn’t charge right anymore (among other things) and I need a new phone. I know I could downgrade, but I am in love with the nice camera and would LOVE a deal on an S7….thanks!! Oh, and I use Verizon prepaid right now, but US Cellular also works in my area….they are the only two though :/

    • Kamaya

The price of the Samsung Galaxy S7 is on sale for $599 @ virgin mobile…not exactly a deal, but the plan is no contract for $35 bucks a month. It includes unlimited talk & text with 5gb per month hth

Try buying refurbished ones with a warranty from places like Fix a phone. I bought a 6 for $269 with a $79 warranty for 1 year that covers everything. Way cheaper than the $589 Verizon wanted and am additional $11 a month warranty!

These phones are not allowed on SW airlines…

    • Morna

No, the Note 7 is not allowed. Different than these.

    Any Iphone deals?

  8. Na Le

Anyone know any iphone deal on black friday ???

  9. Kristin

We just left Best Buy with $900 in gift cards. Traded in 2 S5s and kept our same plan for 2 years. This is a great deal and avoided Black Friday lines. Thanks so much!

    • Deborah Zavala

how much did they give you for each S5s at Besty Buy?

I was having issues with our chargers for my S6’s….sprint released me from my contract and made me eligible for my upgrades now, and we walked out with 2 new phones and $500 in goft cards!
