I make real soap with lye. It’s real stuff. Most things cannot be called soap because they do not go through the saponification process. They are all chemicals. I take real soap making classes at my local library. We use real ingredients cocoa butter, shea butter, essential oils for fragrance, many of which are organic, castor oil many of which can be bought at your local grocery store. The instructor is a certified soap maker. Who has just been asked to speak at the 2017 national soap conference. She also makes thieves oil and other natural cleaning products such as orange cleaner, natural window cleaner, natural goo gone. It’s very easy to make natural dishwasher detergent, same with laundry detergent.
Lye is the world’s largest industrially produced chemical, sodium or potassium hydroxide. So it’s a chemical, not that it bothers me, just saying..lol don’t be angry I’d love to use your lye laden products..
Hey i know lye is a chemical but it gets transformed during the saponification process.
