The free item coupon, the item has to be originally priced at $13 or less. I tried to get a candle with mine too. Basically you can get lotion, body wash or mist with your coupon.
They let me buy one of those pretty candle holders with my free coupon.

Yes you can if they came attached. It will say on the back if you can combine. I received both of those in the mail and if that’s how you did as well, you can combine them. 🙂 great deal…I have seen where they won’t let you get another candle though bc the regular price is over the $13 of the allowable free item.

Hi Tara, if they came together then yes; however you can’t use it on the candles unless they’ve changed the policy. You can get 5 candles for $27.50, and then something else not exceeding the coupon value. HTH
You can’t use the free item coupon on a candle– only up to $13 value, which means regular price.

Hi Erin, all the ones I have are the paper ones that they put in my bag with purchase. If I could I would so give you 1. I’m not sure what time your store opens, but if you can get there early to avoid long lines. You can purchase a sanitizer holder for a $1.00 (plain solid color only) and they should put a 10/30 coupon in your bag (they don’t expire until the 12-24 and my store still has stacks of them). If they don’t put it in then ask them after your purchase to give you one. You can then use it on your candle purchase and hopefully gain another coupon that you can use today. Like I mentioned if you go early you can avoid the long lines (hopefully) and get your sanitizer holder purchase out the way. Good luck!

I can’t wait to stock up (the only candle I’m forbidden to buy according to my kids is the stress relief because they say it smells like bug spray—the older kids sneak and blow it out when I’m not looking). There is a sale in the summer months when they are $6 or $6.50 w/o coupons. I took advantage of that one I think last year. They even had crates in store that ppl could take… like egg crates but specifically for their candles. I STILL have candles from that sale.

They hand out crates at my store too, that hold 6 candles each. Grabbed three and did three transactions at checkout – 5 candles ($15 off $40), 4 candles ($10 off $30) , 4 candles ($10 off $30). I loveeeee these for teacher gifts. So easy and pretty!!

They wouldn’t let me combine both of those but maybe it was just my store. They said a dollar amount and a percentage couldn’t be combined unless it was Black Friday.

Paying shipping is worth it for heavy candles especially if its only 5.99. I can understand why they would not ship heavy candles for free.
Our BBW at the mall in Charleston WV is connected to a White Barn. They have free candle boxes and matches with candle purchases. We had to ask for them when we checked out on the BBW side. This was a month ago so not sure if they have any left.

If you go tonight and they are out of the scents you like go ahead and buy some candles. You can switch for a different scent later when they restock. I did this last year and didn’t get around to exchanging until the spring scents came out.

Coupons.com is offering a $10 off $30 that works in store – FA162853. I just used it there and it worked. I bought 4 candles that were already wrapped… 🙂 Store wasn’t supposed to open until 10 a.m., so I got there about 10 minutes til 10, and there were already people in the store! 🙂 They had a big display though, so no worries!
On a side note, if anyone has a Sephora coupon that came in the email(the 15/50) they won’t be using, I’d love to use it, thanks– snowbuns5 at gmail com

They let me do two separate transactions. I used a $10 off $30 and bought 4. Then I used a $15 off $40 and bought 5 more. This makes them under $6 each. You can’t beat that.

Also, if your store is out of a scent you like go ahead and buy a candle anyway even if it’s one you don’t like. You can exchange it for another scent when they restock. I did this last year with no problem.
My store opened at 9 local time. Got in and out, no problem! No one was there and there was a great selection! Used 3 coupons! Great day!
I was being told a ridiculous thing from a bbw staff that while im trying to combine the $15 off $40 and free item when spend $10, i have tk spend an extra $10 on top of that $40 to get the free item!! Ridiculous because i have never heard of such while shopping at other bbw store. Some store really have those not so nice staff with their own logic of how these coupon are to be combined…. 🙄
You have to get another item to get the free item. Your free item is not one of the candles.
Lili ~ Crazy. The associate gave out incorrect info sadly. If your buying 5 3 wick candles and using the $15 off $40 coupon, the candles act as ‘the purchase’, therefore your other coupon “Free Item with Purchase” coupon is good to use as long as that free item is under $13.

Guys, please CHECK your receipt to make sure the cashiers are scanning the correct discount barcode!!! I had a mailer for 15/40 and free item. However, there were other barcodes for $5 or $10 off on top of that. The cashier took $5 instead of $15 off. I was in the store at 9:55 and was 5th in line and had to return and was told to stand in the line that was wrapping out the door to get an adjustment. BIG headache ; / Thank goodness the manager let me get in front of the line and I had an understanding lady who I got in front of…but boy, the cashier had to return everything and then had to type everything by hand! It took three associates to figure out how to adjust price for missed coupon, who weren’t the nicest either. First bad experience at BBW 🙁

If you are in the store- you can use both the $10 off $30 coupon and the 20% off if they are attached (came in the mail together) = buy four candles (All 3 wicks are included- I got the $29.50 ones) at $8.50, take off the $10 and the 20% and they should come up to $4.30 each- total $18.36 with tax (NC).
You can also use coupons 3 days prior and after the expiration date

The 20% coupon I have with the $10 off $30 coupon attached (mailer) shows a start date of December 5.
Coupons have a grace period and can be used 3 days before they start and 3 days after they expire.
3 days after expiration date. Never heard of the 3 days before start date tho. Hmm.
