I had a question which smell is the best first time getting them

    • Ashley

I managed there for years. I love Tis The season.

    • Brittany

That depends on the types of scents you like!

      My favorites:

      Yummy – Merry Cookie

Clean and crisp – Winter, Fresh Sparkling Snow, Vanilla Snowflake, A Thousand Wishes

Warm and wintery – Frosted Cranberry, Vanilla Bean Noel, Warm Vanilla Sugar

Masculine – Black Tie, Mahogany Teakwood

I tend to hate anything pine or cinnamon, just as a reference for my preferred scents.

    • pat

Marshmallow fireside smells awesome while burning!!

      • Erica (Silly Sidekick)

        Sounds amazing! ๐Ÿ™‚

      • Hilary

Bought three of them. Our favorite!

      • Ann

        That is my favorite!!

    • mari

i like bakery scents and strong ones, im currently burning hot cocoa and cream, it smells just like hot chocolate. i also picked up candied pecan and maple cinnamon pancakes

      • April

I’m burning hot cocoa and cream also it is amazing I am so glad I stocked up on that one.

  2. Sarah

I just came back from the mall I waited almost an Hou in line to buy these candles!!

    • Sarah

      An hour*

    • Brittany

Yikes! I got to the mall early today (around 12:30). Luckily my mall is small. I wasted more time pushing through the hoarders blocking off the entire candle section to pick my choices than I did waiting in line. From getting in line until I was out of the store was less than 2 minutes.

  3. Wendy

Hi does anyone have the code for $15 off of $40? Thanks!!

  4. Hilary

If you count the shipping, $11.13 each for me when I purchased three. Worth it to avoid the mall. Thanks!

    • Heather C

It fouls have been less expensive to buy 4 because you could’ve used the $10 off $30 code.

      • Andrea

You can’t use more than one code.

        • Hilary

Thanks! Not sure what she was speaking about. If you want the $8.50 price online, code ONCEAYEAR is the only one you can use.

  5. Brooke

Of course, after I stood in line at the store today lol

  6. Renee

In PDX line was about 45 minutes. Used 3 coupons $10 off $30. Got 4 for $24 per order. First time buyer but great teacher gifts

  7. Jlubutterfly

You can only use the code to make them $8.50 online, no additional coupons.

    • Wendy

No, they’re $8.50 online then you can use a $10 off of $30 coupon. The code is FA162853 that makes them like $6 something each.

      • T

You can only use code ONCEAYEAR to drop the price to $8.50. No other code would work with this deal. Debating if I should brace the lines or order online

      • Jessica

        I can’t get both codes to work…

      • Amy

        I think that is incorrect

      • K

NO. YOU CAN ONLY USE ONE CODE PER ORDER. TO GET THE 8.50 PRICE YOU HAVE TO USE THE CODE ONCEAYEAR. IT WILL NOT TAKE ANOTHER CODE AFTER YOU USE THAT ONE.

      • Hilary

No. the code ONCEAYEAR makes them $8.50, so to get them that the price it’s the only code you can use.

  8. esmeralda elliott

do you guys know which have the best cinnamon christmas smell?

    • Lacey

      Cinnamon and Clove Bud

      • esmeralda elliott

        thank you

    • Wendy

      ‘Tis the season is wonderful!

      • Laurie

I have to agree Wendy, I picked one up today;)

    • Laura

I also find Tis the season to have a cinnamon scent too.

  9. Sandy

@Wendy, no they are $22.50 online. They are only $8.50 if you use the code “onceayear”. You cannot use the 10 off 30 or 1 free item with that code. Believe me, I tried all combos.

  10. fdboggles

This is a great buy. I got 5 candles and used the $15 off $40 coupon and added a free lighted wall plug for my free item. Thank you!!

  11. Allyson

I tried to buy 4 and use the code to make them $8.50 and then a $10 off $30 code. It won’t work. Keeps saying you can only use one code. I tried to go to the store today but the line was way too long.

    • Hilary

You can only use one code. If you want the $8.50 price online, then you have to use the code ONCEAYEAR.

    • Guest

They are priced at $22.50 on line. You are allowed to use the code Onceayear to drop the price to $8.50 each. No other codes permitted.

    • Rachel

It will only take one code per order. Use the one that’s best for you.

    • SeriousShopper

Well sometimes to get the best price you have to stand in line. I got 12. Did 3 transactions with my 3 coupons and did it right when my outlet store opened. It was busy but I was in and out within 20 mins. I plan this trip each year. ๐Ÿ™‚

  12. vanessa

    1% cash back from ebates.

  13. an

i walked in bath inn body and bought the first 8 candles i saw then waited in line for 15 min. i plan on going back when they arent busy and exchanging them for scent i like.

    • Amy

      That is funny and smart!

    • Lexi

      Great minds think alike ๐Ÿ™‚

  14. Jeanette

The Winter candle is my favorite!!

    • K

      WHAT DOES WINTER SMELL LIKE?

  15. K

    WHAT DOES WINTER SMELL LIKE?

    • Jeanette

      Cloves and cinnamon

    • Gray

      Why are you SHOUTING? ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜…

  16. Eva

    How much is shipping?

    • Patti

It probably depends on your total order amount. Mine was $5.99 for a $45 order. I stopped by a store & the line was WAY too long so to me it was worth paying the shipping to avoid that zoo!

      • Eva

        Thanks, Patti!

    • riss

It says $5.99 flat rate shipping, but limited to 15 candles.

    • Pamela Morris

I bought 13 candles and shipping was only $5.99.

  17. K

SHIPPING INFO SHOWS WHEN YOU GO TO CHECK OUT!!

    • Gray

      Oh my…

      • Sam

        Your responses are hilarious ๐Ÿ˜‚

  18. Devon

Stood in line for 2.5 hours today in store. It was NUTS in there! Worth it for all the deals though- $8.50 candles, $15 off $40 and free item coupons plus a 20% off coupon used on a second order. Plus you get to mingle with other savvy savers while in line. ๐Ÿ™‚

    • amy

That is serious dedication.. Kudos to you:)

  19. Judy Klaahsen

Salted Caramel is Yummy If you like spicy try ‘Tis the Season’., Combination of apple, cinnamon, & cedarwood.

  20. amy

I love Twisted Peppermint. All 3 Bath and Body Works stores in my area sold out of it completely. I was so bummed until I saw they had the deal online, too! ๐Ÿ™‚

  21. Angela V.

Yay, so happy to see this! Thought about going to the store, but it’s way too peopley out!

    • Lana

Lol. I see what you did there… ๐Ÿ˜‰

  22. Norma

I don’t know if it was a good deal or not but the Black Friday tote is still available online with no minimum purchase required and I used the $10 off any $30 purchase, so it covers the shipping and I didn’t have to spend more to get the bag. Plus the candle I really just wanted Champagne Toast was sold out at the store ๐Ÿ™

    • Misty

      That’s a great idea.

  23. Beamergirl

They smell really good but burn too fast I prefer the Yankee candles! If u don’t burn a candle every day it’s ok but I have one burning all the time I can go through one in less then a week .

    • Erin

Same here. I like BBB candles, but standing in line for 2.5 hours? And $8.50 doesn’t seem like a great deal considering how quickly they burn. I stocked up on Yankee candles.

      • Shelby

I was wondering about this. I also felt like the many of the scents weren’t very strong when I smelled them in store. Hoping it’s worth the cost. I got some for gifts but a couple for myself. I burn my candles every day. $8.50 for a week definitely wouldn’t be worth it to me.

  24. Bree

Luckily my son works there so he will pick mines out once the store closes. Lines were to long. Plus he can use the coupon n then his discount… yay for me

    • Deb

Sorry he can’t use his discount on sale items or when using a coupon. Still a great deal however.

      • Catie

True–usually the sale price is better than the discount, actually.

  25. Carol_R

    Thanks Collin! I ordered three.

  26. saltgurl

We have two bath and body works , one in an outside strip mall which opened at 8am and had like 367637373 people lining up outside the door , I drive across the street to the main mall and went inside and it was also open at 8am but no one knew and only 3 people in the whole store at 820am! It was amazing and I had the most peaceful $8.50 candle experience ever, Lol…. smelled every candle in the store and leisurely picked out my loot!!!

    • Heather

      This made me giggle

  27. Michelle

Got 5 candles and a wallflower for $29 ๐Ÿ˜Š LOVE IT!

  28. Heather

If you can wait for your candles the day after Christmas they go on sale for $6. At least they did last year. I bought mine on December 27th last year it was awesome

    • Jeanette

      Thank you. I’ll do that

    • Jeanie

I hope so because I was not able to make it out to the mall and I’m not buying online with only being able to use one code.

  29. Amy

They wouldn’t let me use my free item coupon with my $15 off $40. They said that I would have to spend $10 more to then be able to use the free item coupon. I have never heard of that and was a little frustrated. Having read comments here, none of you had problems using more than one coupon in the store.

    • Jamie

I was able to use my $15/$40 coupon plus the free item coupon no problem. Sorry it didn’t work for you!

    • Sierra

Wow sorry that happened to you. It says on the back of that coupon that it can be used with the 15/40. I had no problem using both of my coupons today.

    • Deb

They are correct you can use both coupons together however, you have to still meet the criteria for each individual coupon. So if it says free item with a purchase of $10. and you also wanted to use the $15. Off $40. You would have to spend $50.
Hope that helps clarify it for everyone.
      ๐Ÿ˜Š

    • leslie

I went to the store today with my mom….they made me spend $10 extra like you and not my mom! I would have said something if I didn’t realize the other lady that checked her out didn’t charge her until we got to the car :-/

      • Deb

Well your mom got a deal. Actually if you would have said something they may have made your mom adjust hers or give back the free item. Being a hectic day and having a lot of seasonal workers mistakes get made. Look at coupons this way from now on…If you were going to use them separately what would you have to spend?
Letting you use them together in one transaction is just a courtesy to save time checking out. Once again I hope this helps ๐Ÿ˜Š

        • Gray

Deb, sounds like your work for them?๐Ÿค”

    • Wana

I had 9 candles in my bag, I asked the cashier if I can do 2 separate transactions and she said “yes”.
      1st transaction: 5 candles ($8.50 x 5 = $42.50 – $8.50 (1 free candle with $10 purchase) – $10 ($10 off $30 coupon) = $24 + tax
      2nd transaction: 4 candles ($8.50 x 4 = $34 – $10 ($10 off $30 coupon) = $24 + tax.
I think it all depends on the store and the people that work there.

      • Deb

Well Merry Christmas you also got lucky in more ways then one. A free item can never be a three wick candle even if it’s on sale it does not count either do gift sets or multiple items such as a trial set for instance. It can only be one item regular price $13. Or under.

  30. civyl

What would i do without hip2save…..thank you for all your hard work.

  31. Erica

I just came back from BBW. It was not too crowded here. I had a bunch of coupons for $10 off $30 that expire tomorrow, so I gave some to people in line and left others in the shelves.

    • Luna

      Wow

    • Wana

I had 3 coupons for 20% off that expired Dec 31st and handed them to people in line. They were very surprised… I’m glad I saved them some money.

  32. Heather

Stopped in an outlet in my travels this evening and my wait was maybe 26 seconds-it was glorious. They said if I spent over $60 they would double my coupons…but with hubby next to me I opted not too lolol!!

  33. Janet

I went in person about 4pm. My store was packed shoulder to shoulder, but they were very well stocked and organized. Once i picked my 8 candles,i waited about half an hour in line.

  34. lisa

Does anyone know if the sale will still be good in store tomorrow?

    • Jane

It’s valid in-stores today 12/3 only. Valid through 6 AM EST tomorrow though!! ๐Ÿ™‚

  35. Karen

Seems like there are fewer options online (no hot cocoa?), but still nice to avoid the crowds.

  36. Melissa Stahl

5 min wait this morning. 9 candles with 2 coupons. great deal! Thanks, Collin!

  37. Diana

I got 2 candles, magic in the air lotion, and magic in the air rollerball- used $10 off $30 and freebie coupon=pd $12.98 total! So awesome!!!
I also went to yankee candle- got my small tumbler candle and car freshener= $1.08 total and rcvd my free candle coupon! Went to vs and bought hand cream for $5 and got a free vs mist! 38. Amy

Can anyone tell me what coupons were passed out yesterday with in store purchase? My store gave out no coupons, this has never happened before๐Ÿ˜ฌ The next few weeks is when I make my largest purchases.
