   My almost 5 year old got this for Christmas! We already celebrated with the family member that got it for him. So we’ve been playing it. He got the xbox360 version. Be prepared to download lots of updates for things to work properly in the game. If your like me, you have no idea where that little thing even is that allows the 360 to have internet access. Lol. Overall, a great game, love all the classic add on characters from my childhood. Gremlins, back to the future & more!

   Awesome! I bought this a few weeks ago for the Xbox 360 when it was $29.99 and thought that was a deal. I just bought it again and used my Rewards points and got it for $16.11 shipped to my house! Woot! Woot! Back goes the other one, but oh so worth it. Thanks Collin!

   This is crazy….. I just asked my kiddos, seriously 5 mins. ago, what was on the top of their Christmas Wishlist. It changes as the list gets longer. Anyway, my oldest just told me he wanted the Lego Dimensions Starter Pack really bad. Well, Mrs. Claus just picked it up for him. Thanks. He will be thrilled.

   Can anyone tell me more about this game. Do you have to buy a bunch of additional pieces? Do you play game and build ? Is this ok for a 13 year old? I see everyone is purchasing it for younger children.

  We have this game. Harder than Disney Infinity. It makes them think. You can buy new characters or just use the ones it comes with. I never spend more than $6 on a character. Often cheaper with sales. A 13 year old would like this!

  My son is 7. We’ve had it since April. He loves this game and I like that it’s not just on the tv. He has to build things. As for the money investment, we only buy the pieces on sale ($5 below sells them) and my son gets a lot of play time before he asks for another character piece.

   Jenn, this game is definitely an investment. You have to buy the packs to go with the set to play different lebels and have different abilities. We probably spent (oh the shame) over $200 on the first wave of characters and levels. My 11 year old plays and loves it. I’ve played it too. 🙂

    Got this yesterday at Target. $19.99 is an awesome price. Just now got the $5.99 extras from Best Buy… My husband and daughter will love their together gift = )

    I couldn’t find it in stock at Target or ToysRUs online (at least the PS3 version), but Amazon has it at the same price right now!
